Toney would knock his ugly snaggletooth ass into outer space.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I think James Toney was better at Super Middleweight, but he still had some incredible performances at Middleweight vs Nunn, McCallum. But at Super Middleweight his performances vs Barkley, DeWitt, Williams, Littles, are unbelievable.
He seemed to be mentally and physically at his peak at Super Middleweight, so im going with B-Hop at Middleweight. And James Toney at Super Middleweight, and i do think James Toney is the better fighter, and is more exciting to watch aswell.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
hopkins wins at middle , toney wins at SM .
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .
A nonstop brawl with both of them fouling the shit out of each other. Headbutts, elbows, you name it. It goes to the cards and Toney gets the decision.
Hopkins was more consistent at Middleweight, Toney had some shockers at that weight. Super middle he was good but against fighters which suited him better, so still say B Hop. At light heavy would be interesting and at Cruiser and heavy, Toney all the way.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
No matter when it happens I just think it's an ugly ass fight. James Toney and Bernard Hopkins their styles don't match. Toney allows guys on the inside and Hopkins likes to gore his opponents with his head down and act like some sissy ass Italian soccer player whenever he's close to being fouled. Both guys would be gunning for the right cross/overhand right. Hopkins would try to utilize the jab and maybe it's effective, maybe not but everything else Toney rolls with and counters.
I think a fight vs Eubank or Benn or even Steve Collins would have been a lot better looking.
tough one, but B-Hop wins at both 160 and 168
Toney takes both of them...

At 160 THIS was one that got away.A dream match that never came.
I take Hopkins over 12 at middle.Much more active with varied sharp attack in and out early 160.Underated speed-shifts could trouble Toney who coasted in spots and Hopkins would not fall into Toneys 6 inch shots and stay in pocket troubles other had,Toney never fast of foot.Nunn and Johnson gave him boxing fits there,Tiberi even McCallum at times out hustled and crowded him bad....Hopkins does both at peak weight for win for me.Dont see Toney getting in his head either and give Hopkins the bigger mental-focus edge.
160 an aggressive B-Hop TKO's Toney
168 the stronger Toney outpoints Hopkins
right now, Hopkins beats Toney, and makes him thankful that he signed with the UFC lol
OK so at 160 when Toney was at his peak Hopkins stops him when no one else has ever even come close to stopping him? Guys who punches harder, faster, straighter like Roy Jones Jr. couldn't stop James Toney but Bernard Hopkins would? I can see a UD but TKO?!?!?! That's crazy.
Right now if they fought at cruiserweight or heavyweight James Toney would still be a tough fight for Hopkins.
