    Default Manos de Plumas

So how do people think Malignaggi will do against Kahn?

I figure Kahn beats him down pretty signifigantly. I think Paulie is a very skilled boxer but he's still a hitable guy. He's no Willie Pep.

I figure Kahn won't have much respect for Malignaggi's punching power and will open up on him. Granted Kahn's chin is suspect but I doubt Malignaggi will test it with alot of "big shots". Pot shopping Kahn won't floor him. But who knows.

I'll be rooting for Malignaggi but I think he'll be a bit outgunned on this outting.

I've never seen Khan save for the drubbing he took off Prescott. I don't get Malignaggi. The guys a great boxer and has a good chin. I'm baffled how he was getting spanked to the point of stoppage by Hatton one minute and was handing Diaz his hat the next. If only Dr. Cornelius was still with us, we might make something out of ol' Paulie.

Not much to add, I know Khan gets a lot of crap for getting caught against Prescott, but the kid can box, he's got very fast hands, high volume punching, quick feet and the stamina to make all that count. Malignaggi with his lack of power really doesn't have anything to push this fight into his favor, Paulie winning would have to be considered a huge upset when you take their styles into account.

Take a CC for the thread title by the way.

I think Malinaggi can and will beat Khan.

He's a good boxer in his own right, with great confidence coming off the biggest win of his career over Juan Diaz.

Khan will beat Paulie guaranteed he is made for Amir in the sense that he does not have a concussive punch and GBP have paid off Maidana.

Watching the press conference for this fight made me a bit of a Malignaggi fan. I hope to see him win.

I'll still like him and support him win or lose. He's got a set on him. He'll fight anyone, has a good chin and although he's slick, he still makes for interesting fights cuz he engages. Plus, the shit talking is awesome. Not on James Toneys level but good all the same.
