Jesus, that guy needs to get off the drink. This is relatively minor compared to the assault charges filed against him, but man sounds like a downward spiral to me.

I just read another article on boxing scene that seems to be down playing this story a bit. Valero says he was just out getting the paper and the alcohol in his system has not been confirmed. Also says he is hiring protection from the police cause of the media. Not sure which story is more legit.

Does anyone no if valero has always acted up like this or is it a more recent thing

Is he still under medical suspension here in the States?I wonder how much of being 'couped' up locally is just eating at him,center of national attention and unable to be a stranger in other venues?Oh and not to mention being drunk as hell and running from cops.And they took him home as opposed to...jail?

From what I understand he is only allowed to fight in Texas.
