Yet another of the billion-plus reasons why the WBC is an absolutely disgusting organization: In the May rankings, president for life Jose Sulaiman and his puppets rank Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. No. 1 in the junior middleweight division (which, by the way, he doesn't even fight in any more). There are no words to describe the utter fraudulence of such a rating. Almost as big of a joke is Antonio Margarito -- out for 16 months for trying to cheat with loaded gloves against Mosley before returning to win a nothing fight at 154 pounds a couple of weeks ago -- being absurdly ranked No. 2. There should be an investigation.

Yeah i just read the blog too. Absolutley crazy, the WBC is a joke. What i found more interesting in the blog was the DLH part. i wonder what's going on with him, he should have been there for the Khan fight for sure, and he wasn't at the news confrence for Vazquez/Marquez. I wonder what's going on...

Yeah, not being present at the biggest fight of the year; which he promotes is certainly strange.

Damn, is Sulaiman still not dead?

De La Hoya was on Lopez tonight which was the most mainstream promotion I saw for the fight. Who knows though.

If this is true, and for the good of boxing, Sulaiman should be forcibly placed on the next lunar mission. I'm pretty sure he can't piss anybody off on the moon.
