    Hell yeah !

Cotto looked great tonight, better defense, great jab, very calm and calculating.

I'd love to see Cotto vs. Angulo next.

It'd be like a rematch with Margarito minus the loaded gloves from that cheating fuck.

Margacheato does not deserve any big payday anymore Hulk. I agree about the Angulo fight though I do believe Miguel does have chance against him. Personally though I like Miguel to step back down to welter Miguel is a short junior middle(SHORT REACH). I'm also torn though another side of my brain tells me Miguel should retire now.

Don't know why. Angulo doesn't belong on the same card as Cotto let alone the same ring. If Joel Julio is outboxing you, you aren't gonna go that far.

Williams, Cintron and Sergio Martinez and if he wants a boxer without power like Foreman for another title shot he can fight Spinks and all those are better fights at 154 for Cotto then Angulo.

Cotto would be ok for the weight only if he had a longer reach. Miguel might be lunging against the likes of Williams and Martinez, I do believe that Miguel could still hurt them though. I'm impressed!!!

Cotto looked great at 154, but lets be real, the ring logos stopped Yuri Foreman, not Cotto. It was a very close fight up until Foreman slipped and injured his knee. I also don't get why Cotto's gloves were twice the size of Foreman's gloves.

Cotto is one of my favorite fighters. The guy is as humble as they come and a true gentlemen. Foreman showed a lot of heart fighting on with one good leg. Both guys are class acts.

i had Cotto ahead 6 to 1 (at most 5 to 2) going into the 7th, and the way he was pacing himself no way he was gonna tire out, IMO the Cotto that fought last night would have taken Pacquiao to the limits, his style and Steward have meshed well and IMO it can only get better

I thought he looked very decent, but I wouldn't go that far. Manny Pac and Yuri Foreman are two very different beasts. Foreman isn't an elite level fighter like Manny Pacquiao. Manny has proven himself fight in fight out in the past couple of years. He would have busted up Foreman himself easily enough.

97-92 96-93 97-92 scoring was somthing like that he already won the fight if it went to points so it wasnt close at all. But i do belive he is to short for this class. Although he did have a longer reach than Yuri :s was great performance though

But yeah, I agree that the matching of Steward and Cotto was excellent. Cotto looked much better on his feet and played to his strengths well. I'm curious to see how this partnership develops.

I don't think he should fight Pac again right now, but on this form he would likely have done better against Pac. I have a hard time saying that he could have beaten Pac though.

While you're right in that Manny is no Yuri, IMO it's also true that Cotto came out with totally the wrong fight plan (or worse... NO fight plan) for Manny. He had practically no trainer, no one to tell him what he was doing wrong, no one to be the boss and say: "We're going to do things MY way." Joe Santiago was a non-entity. Even so, Cotto managed to snap Pacquiao's head back in the first couple of rounds with his excellent jab. But then he went "macho" on Manny, and paid the price. We all know that Manny can throw 5 punches in the time it takes the normal fighter to throw a couple.

No, I'm not saying that Cotto would've DEFINITELY beaten Pacquiao with Emanuel in his corner. But the likelihood would've been there. And I'm a huge Manny fan also... but I just feel Cotto has the physical tools and skills to beat him at 147 or higher.

Foreman is no Pacquiao, but the Cotto that fought Pacquiao was controlling the action early on, until he tried to impose himself, so if he would have fought as he did last night and used his natural counter punching ability he would have fared a lot better than he did on the night of the actual fight, a few more fights with Steward in his corner and IMO Cotto's career might be taking a new turn for the better

IF Floyd vs. Pac wont be happening this year, can Pacquiao go for a rematch with Cotto for 8th weight div title (154lbs )without a weight drain? It is possible guys or just fight Margarito? still my 1st choice would be Floyd vs. Pac

Oh by the way props to Cotto for the win.

also with Yuri Foreman this guy wont stop i know hes really hurt on that knee injury jeez... that's the kind fighters we need today.
