    Default Fnf 7/23/10

    Tachi Palace and Hotel
    Lemoore, California

Tonight Beibut Shumenov (Kazakhstan) 9-1 (6 KOs) defends his WBA title against Viacheslav Uzelkov (Ukraine) 22-0 (14 KOs)
In a 12 round Light Heavyweight contest. IMO Shumenov lost and got a complete gift is his last fight against Gabriel Campillo, probably the robbery of the year so far. Shumenov fought in the 2004 Olympics representing his native Kazakhstan. Shumenov is a heavy footed stalking power puncher. I have never seen Uzelkov before, so I can't give a prediction of the fight.

The undercard is another Light heavyweight bout featuring Gayrat Ahmendov (Uzbekhistan) 14-0-1 (9 KOs) vs. Dallas Vargas 22-4 (16 KOs). Vargas is the brother of former Olympian and recent Kevin Johnson victim Devon Vargas. Dallas is also legally deaf, say what you will, but this seems a dangerous thing in the ring being unable to hear the bell, the warnings and instructions from the ref.

At any rate should be some heavy punches thrown, and should be entertaining.

Sheep, you should roll out to this fight. From what I've read, Uzelkov is favored in this fight. I'm looking forward to it.

I really can't stand Shumenov as a fighter, is it his fault necessarily that he got a complete gift? No but I hate his style and would love to see him get beat tonight.

I'm not impressed by Shumenov, he should be 9-2, and I've never heard of Uzelkov. Should be interesting if nothing else.

Happy Birthday Killer, you old fuck.
