    Default Titere back in action

I don't know whom of you remember this guy as he's been out of the ring since showing Breidis Prescott a lesson in confusion. He is back in action on FOX next Friday against Power punching and super resilient Ji Hoon Kim. This should be a great fight, one I personally am really looking forward to.

The undercard features undefeated Miguel Angel Garcia against Cornelius Lock which should hopefully be interesting.

I really like Titere's unique style, it's difficult for anyone to crack the code that is his unorthodox movement.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

They have this going now. 4th round and apparently Garcia is putting some serious damage on Lock. Oddest start time 9:30.....WOW Lock is ranked top ten by IBF Going head to head with Dawson/Pascal but really want to see Kim main event. Will be some channel flipping

this is the reason why i've said all along that fights are not fought on paper! going into the vazquez/kim fight, i didn't think vazquez had much of a chance. i didn't like his balance, the fact that he didn't have much power to hurt kim made me think kim was going to go thru him like a hot knife thru butter. but boy, was i wrong and pleasantly surprised. i must admit though in totally underestimating miguel vazquez! the guy is a great, great celebral boxer. he put on a clinic like i've rarely seen before. kim was completely outclassed and after two or three rounds, started getting desperate. he definitely was exposed tonight as a one dimensional fighter.

i was glad to see undefeated feather prospect, miguel angel garcia pass a huge test tonight. i was really worried because cornelius lock is a very tough customer. i guess this makes garcia as a mandatory to the yuriorkis gamboa/orlando salido fight. should gamboa beat salido, as he'll be a huge favorite, it would be wise for garcia's connections to stay away from gamboa. the kid is good but just isn't ready. the truth is, i don't think he'll ever be ready for a fighter like gamboa. as good as garcia looked tonight, they shouldn't rush him to a title fight yet. i saw alot of discrepancies in his game and i don't feel he's ready just quite yet.

going back to miguel vazquez! with his victory and by winning the IBF lightweight title, he is now mexico's 10th current world champion and 111th overall for mexican-born fighters. congrats!

i still think miguel angel garcia has alot of learning to do before they put him in for a title shot! for one, he relies too much on his right hand. he's got a nice jab with a powerful right hand but he's going to need a lot more to become a champion. last night i hardly saw any body work from him and he could use his left hook alot more. the times that he did use it (left hook), it was very weak. he needs to develop these if he wants to be a champion because that left/right combo isn't going to cut it at that level.

the problem is not only with garcia's repertoire, but the featherweight division is absolutely loaded with great fighters. right now, chris john, gamboa, caballero, juanma lopez, jhonny gonzales, daniel ponce de leon, steven luevano and a few others would be favored against garcia. the only champion i can see garcia beating is orlando salido but even that fight would be a very tough one for garcia.
