I just don't like the way he is trying to become a David Haye clone, the way he fights he will get knocked out soon, he doesn't have the power imo to fight the way he does, basically a mini David Haye same stance low left hand loves throwing flashy hooks but leaves his chin out to dry while admiring his work.

Groves has been shite in his last two fights and that was when he has stepped it up just a little, I am not to clued up on Booths techniques but I don't think with Groves it is a good idea to try and copy Hayes style.

Maybe Scrap can answer this, but what sort of shape was Kenny in mate? With the two weeks notice i no he was due to fight Quigley but he had to strip naked at the weigh in and looked like he gassed last night. Did he have to shift a lot of weight in a short space of time? At the weigh in Groves looked a lot bigger to me then on fight night the other way round.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch with Anderson given a full camp to train for Groves.

I remember thinking Groves was gonna lose after going down. From my seat he looked to be really shaky. I honestly think De Gale schools him right now and I think I agree, he needs to look at developing his own style rather than copying Hayes. He doesn't have the single shot power like Haye and his style is to accumulate and wear down rather than pick good hard shots.

I think he does, he's a knockout waiting to happen with his current style. He doesn't have the power to be able to stop a fighter in his tracks when they're bringing the pressure like Anderson was, and fighting with his hands down and chin exposed is just asking for to be hit. Last night in the 2nd round he got into trouble by dropping his hands against the ropes and getting caught 5-6 times cleanly. He's very lucky to not have a loss on his record this morning, but he won't be getting much further if changes aren't made to his style soon

I was terribly dissapointed in Groves last night, although he did learn a tough lesson. He looked out of steam after a couple, maybe he skipped on some road work. Certainly won't do again if he has, and he certainly got the a wake up call on the issue of low hands. He doesn't really have the speed and reflexes for that style......
