Audley needs to get paid for the Haye fight first. The BBBofC have frozen is purse until the meeting on December 8th when he'll have to explain his performance. It'll probably just be a formality and he'll get it in full, they just want to show all the disgruntled fans who bought it that they're doing something.

Funny article though, its amazing how many people there still take him seriously.

I think it's terrible that they haven't paid him.

It's not as if his terrible performance & lack of punches thrown is a new thing; he does that all the time whenever he meets an opponent that aims a punch in his general direction.

Did people think that Parcel Force Harrison was suddenly going to morph into a heavyweight version of Matthew Saad Muhammad?

Yeah the negative performance was largely to be expected. Landing one punch is a bit of a joke but if he didn't plan on trying he wouldn't have got up from the knock down and wouldn't have tried to buy more recovery time by spitting out his mouthpiece. I'd be surprised if they took it off him, they just want to be seen to be taking some action about the whole thing.

Exactly, if he's shit scared to take a punch off powerhouses like Sprott and Barrett why do they expect him to be aggressive against Haye? It was clear his only chance was Haye getting reckless and walking onto one, he was always going to be that negative
