JMM or Mosley?
I honestly didn't even watch both fights completely. I am interested in the forums opinion.
Has to be Mosley, because JMM lost every round, and Shane was able to hurt Floyd badly in the second round. To his credit I think JMM wasn't beat up as much, I think Floyd was landing much harder shots on Mosley because Shane drops that left and Floyd was nailing him with crosses.
HANDS DOWN Shane did better....Shane actually hurt Floyd, he hurt him badly too which probably ended up hurting Shane who kept looking for 1 clean shot to hurt Floyd again and when Floyd knows you're gunning for 1 punch he's going to tell you where to pick it up and where to drop it off, he's just too damn good on defense and counter punching unless you're Tommy Hearns and can "put the lights out" on somebody with 1 shot then you've got the wrong strategy vs Floyd.
People like Manny's chances because he is never satisfied landing just 1 big punch, he wants to bust you up a bit, using both hands and then get out of dodge and if he's able to actually impliment that vs Floyd he'll be in good shape.
JMM was in waaaay over his head, but Shane just got caught up in the moment and didn't stick to any game plan
Shane ofcourse. He won round 1 and 2 and rocked Floyd twice. JMM lost all rounds and got his butt flat on the canvas.
Not even up for debate. Only a fool would say Marquez did better after getting floored and losing every round.
Any dissenter of Floyd who watched both fights, I assure you jumped to their feet in that 2nd rd of the Mosley fight in gleeful anticipation of what could of been, and nearly was.
Wasn't even a seconds worth of that in the JMM fight. Easy peasy choice.
only time i saw Floyd hurt against Mosley was after the big right hand, other than that it was Floyd stunning Mosley a couple of times, as for the topic Mosley did better, but it makes no difference for 2 reasons IMO if he would have pressured a bit more Mayweather would have gotten the stoppage in both fights, and well if you're trying to use this as justification to Pacquiao picking Mosley over Marquez well styles make fights, based on their last 2 performances Mosley looked like crap (especially against Mora) and Marquez seemed to regain his form at 135, he's taken Pacquiao to hell twice (IMO beat Pacquiao twice) so there is no reason as to why Pacquiao shouldn't fight Marquez again
Shane at least bothered Floyd for the first 2 rounds, JMM landed the occassional right hand but nothing else.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Come on....
Seriously? This isn't even up for debate.
i wonder if a pacquiao fan started this thread? Hmmm!!! let's see, with pacquiao's decision to fight a washed up mosley and now that all the backlash is coming boxing fans all over the world, now this clown is trying to justify why a mosley/pacquiao fight makes more sense than fighting marquez? is this guy delusional? anybody with a brain would tell you mosley did better than marquez vs. mayweather jr. but everybody will also tell you mosley is washed up while marquez is still going strong at 37 yo. besides, mosley doesn't have the right style to bother pacquiao like marquez does. simple as that! pacquiao wants to make money fighting fighters that will give him the least resistance.
I voted JMM
