    Default Most Improved Fighter?

In your opinion, who is considered the "Most Improved Fighter" since the beginning of their career?

Koscheck has come along way from the TUF season he was on. Hard to think of someone that has really improved that wasn't on one of the Ultimate fighter shows. Mir is a fighter that comes to mind of someone that went from being pretty one dimensional to having a much improved stand up game.

IMO Kenny Florian is a million times better since TUF.

I agree..I also think Kenny was vastly underrated not to mention fighting at a much higher weight class during the show....and apparently Kos still has a long way to go..can't seem to get out of the way of a simple jab

I am still amazed at GSP, we might not like his style but ... does he has any flaw? Perfect Jiu Jitsu game, perhaps the best wrestler in the game and he has the total kick/punches arsenal. The kid always improve, it impresses me.

Until someone comes along that has a better stand up game and can keep GSP from taking him down he won't lose. His wrestling and athleticism is too good for anyone to take him down and dominate. His BJJ defense is very solid. Other than Hughes subbing him I don't think I have ever even seen him in trouble regarding submissions. Maybe BJ in the first fight. Shields is a really big WW and may be the kind of fighter that can impose his will on him but if can't get the take down then GSP will turn his lights out inside of 3. Nick Diaz to me wouldn't beat George but I think his rangy build and stand up could make for a very interesting fight at the very least closer than any of the last few.

Yeah I agree with that. It's still incredible that he went from being considered as one of the best stand up fighter to one of the best wrestler. Shield would be a very interesting fight but as he's in Strikeforce, it's unlikely to happen in the short time.

Shields is in the UFC now...just won a very close decision over Martin Kampman.

For most improved fighter I've got to add Evan Dunham.

I missed that one... If ever he wins 2-3 more fight, we might see GSP-Shield.

I don't think you will have to wait 2-3 fights...pretty sure it will be GSP's next fight at 170.

Yeah if GSP sticks at 170, Shields is next.
