Default Hopking-Pascal,is this the end for the old dog?

    Looking forward to this fight.

Might even get it on ppv.

Pascal has the style to make Hopkins look good.

If hopkins fights anything like he did against jones then pascal will do a execution act and retire hopkins for good...maybe around the 8th rnd

job biscuit (i think hopkins is overrated to b honest)!!!

Jean Pascal has improved but im still not sure, how he will deal with B-Hop's style. Which isn't the most exciting style to watch, but its effective and gets the job done. He can easily take away Jean Pascal's speed and athletic ability, by doing what he does best. Inside fighting and lots of headbutts to go along with that.

Pascal will win but would be very suprised if he could knock out the old dog.

I was the biggest BHop fan for years but I've grown tired of his "shtick". He's the Favre of boxing world for me right now. I'll remember the good times again once he's away from the sport for a few years and we are all asking "what happened to all the old-time throw back fighters??". He said win or lose he's going to keep on fighting. I guess when he promised his dying mother he would stop fighting before his 40th he had his fingers crossed.

Pascal's youth will be too much for Bernard. He'll out work BHop. I hope he takes his beating like the man he is.

Hopkins has looked like shit since the Pavlik fight. I think Pascal finishes him, but he's proven me wrong before.

I hate his style though, it's ugly and dirty.

I didn't even know about this and I don't really get it either. The worst thing for a guy like Hopkins is speed. Pascal certainly has some technical lapses that a guy like Hopkins can take advantage of but I suspect its about over for Hopkins.

I think it is ugly because of old age the fighter that fought Trinidad and even Pavlik was good to watch.

Speed is not whats going to kill B-Hop. It will have to be effective aggressiveness.
I'm from Philly, and I went against B-Hop in all his fights since Tito(except DLH). I even wish RJJ was going to whip that ass (60 - 40). But like everyone else, Hopkins prove everyone wrong. Although it looks like the cards are stacked against him, Hopkins is a master a finding a flaw and exposing it.

Hopkins hasnt knocked anyone out in about 200 years so that wont be happening. At the same time, although seemingly powerful, Pascal doesnt seem to stop the better opponents he fights and none come more granite than Hopkins. In short this one is a banker to go the distance.

Neither has workrate but Pascal is pretty flashy and that should be the difference to end the rounds in his favour most of the time. Especially in his backyard where the crowd will roar despite Hopkins defence blocking the vast majority of what comes his way during the bursts. Hes surprised us before and I think Hopkins will do ok but not enough to win the fight. 116-112.

guys lets be greatfull that theres someone like b-hop out there who takes fights like this...a fight he's seen to be the big outsider, everyone says he'll be beat.....atleast he's got the guts to take fights like this unlike other ( one person which i wont name who lives in vegas and loves his MONEY lol ) the old dog has done alot in the last 5 years that many thought he couldn't.........tarver, winky, calzaghe, pavlik, and now pascal.....all fights that people thoght he'd get beat badly....but this time i feel its a step to far, every fighter who out satys his welcome in the ring gets caught in deep water one day

i'd love hopkins to win and add a new chapter....if he wins he'll be the oldest man to become world champion

Really? In the entertainment stakes I usually have Hopkins up there between Junior Witter and Wladimir Klitschko. I think even if it was on free-to-air I'd probably have it in the background whilst doing something else.
