Default The Roach Manny Khan boxing triumvirate

It seems to me that these three are the biggest love hate guys in the sport. Looking at the responses both for and against, it also seems to me that people who have a grudge with one have a grudge with all of them, whereas fans of one seem to be fans of all three.

Is that accurate? Are they a package, that you either love all or reject all, or does anyone love one but hate another.

Please share your thoughts and vote in my poll.

What poll? (you're probably setting it up right at this moment).

This really sounds like a homo-erotic post.

I like Khan and Manny, not a huge fan of both but I quite enjoy them, I just think Khan should have an agent to manage what he writes on his Twitter.

As for Roach, IMO, he's the very best trainer alive at the moment. He's not only a brilliant trainer but he's really smart when it comes to psychology, people tend to not like him because of what he says but the thing is: There has been really no other trainer interviewed as often as him in the past 4 years, especially because he's been on almost every 24/7 over here. HE often says things to get the attention instead of having it dropped on the head of one of his fighter, which is a clever thing to do. Personally, I have tons of respect and appreciation for the guy.

GB you are obsessed with the sexual nature of all of my postings. It's like you are constantly thinking only about boy love or something.

    It's creepy.

His facebook is hilarious too. Today he wrote this, clearly he's still confused a bit from the weekend as posted this
Don't feel to bad today and my bruising on my face isn't as bad as it was against maidana.

Haha. At least he has a thorough understanding of how the body heals itself.

I like Manny, what he's done in the sport is incredible, he comes to fight and put on a show every time. He's a true ATG, I just hope we see him in the fight everyone wants next year.

Got a lot of respect for Roach, he's a great trainer, probably the best around right now.

And though I grudgingly respect his skills, I f*cking hate Khan.

Roach is the Phil Jackson of boxing. He talks shit and gets into people's head as someone here has already said.

Roach annoys me with the weight class stuff. I wish he wouldn't stipulate all these things. It's ridiculous but he knows his guy has the leverage but I just don't like it. Especially for the Cotto fight, that just rubbed me the wrong way. Fight him at 147, why not? Whatever, great trainer I guess. But a trainer also probably gets to much credit when going great and to much blame when things are going wrong. In the end, it's the fighter who fights in there.

Khan I like outside of the ring. He's just so stupid, you can't help but root for him. For that reason he seems a bit down to Earth.

Pacquiao I like too but ehh I think Mayweather beats him And maybe Bradley.

Yeah that's exactly my thoughts on him. It's like having Leftylee or El Gamo as a top level boxer, I don't understand how people can not like the kid.
