    Post HBO's "Boxing's Best" lineup

I can't imagine any boxing fans having missed most of these fights. Just in case you did one they will be re-aired on regular HBO.

    HBO's "Boxing's Best" lineup:

Monday, Dec. 27 at 12:00 a.m. -- Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley
Monday, Dec. 27 at 1:00 a.m. -- Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana
Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11:00 p.m. -- Kelly Pavlik vs. Sergio Martinez
Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 12:00 a.m. -- Sergio Martinez vs. Paul Williams II
Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 12:20 a.m. -- Yuri Foreman vs. Miguel Cotto
Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 12:00 a.m. -- Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Michael Katsidis
Thursday, Dec. 30 at 11:00 p.m. -- Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito

I check the HBO web site videos from time to time and they put a lot of classic fights on there HBO: Boxing: Home

It takes a fair amount of bandwidth to view these full screen without the choppiness, so if your having trouble do a quick search on youtube HD HBO also post them up there.

Its pretty sad that you never see any Heavyweights in the "best of boxing" anymore. I know the lighter weight classes are as a whole more action packed, but I cant even remember in recent history a heavyweight match that even sparked my interest. I wish someone would come along and clean up the division, unify titles and create some entertainment up there.

Default HBO to air Mayweather-Pac-Marquez-Martinez-Cotto-Khan replays

HBO will air a series of its premiere fights of 2010, called, its "Boxing's Best" lineup, over the course of four days starting on Monday, Dec. 27, and, ending on Thursday, Dec. 30.

The first bout will be the May 1 clash from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where six-time titlist Floyd Mayweather 41-0, 25 knockouts) was staggered early in the fight only to come back and dominate then-WBA welterweight (147 pounds) champion, Shane Mosley, by lopsided unanimous decision before 15,117.

Mayweather earned a non-heavyweight record, guaranteed $22.5 million purse for his performance, while Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs), whose title was not on the line against Mayweather, earned his largest career pay day -- a guaranteed $7 million.

Later on Monday, the network will rebroadcast last Saturday's unanimous decision by WBA junior welterweight (140 pounds) champ Amir Khan(24-1, 17 KOs) over WBA interim titlist Marcos Rene Maidana(29-2, 27 KOs) that was contested at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.

Maidana rose from a first-round knockdown to nearly finish off Khan during a vicious 10th-round barrage of a bout that was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

On Tuesday, Argentinian-born southpaw WBC middleweight (160 pounds) king Sergio Martinez (46-2-2, 25 KOs) will be featured winning his two Atlantic City match ups, as will WBA junior middleweight king Miguel Cotto(35-2, 28 KOs), his June triumph.

Martinez, promoted by Lou Dibella, will first be shown dethroning Kelly Pavlik (36-2, 32 KOs) by unanimous decision in April, and then, during his Nov. 20, second-round knockout of rival southpaw Paul Williams (39-2, 27 KOs) that avenged a December, majority decision loss in which both fighters were floored in the first round.

Williams, who is promoted by Dan Goossen, was rated No. 3 in most pound-for-pound lists behind Mayweather and eight-division champ Manny Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KOs), who is the current WBO welterweight (147 pounds) and WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) champion.

Cotto, who is promoted by Top Rank Promotions, will be televised during the first-ever fight from the new Yankee Stadium, where his ninth-round knockout of Yuri Foreman (28-1, eight KOs) earned him the crown.

Wednesday will bring WBO and WBA lightweight (135 pounds) champion Juan Manuel Marquez (52-5-1, 38 KOs) rising from the canvas after a third-round knockdown that was the result of a vicious left hook, and then recovering to fire 61, unanswered punches at a reeling WBO interim king Michael Katsidis (27-3, 22 KOs).

Marquuez forced referee Kenny Bayless to step in and call a halt to their Nov. 27, MGM Grand fight at 2:14 of the ninth round in Las Vegas.

Thursday will close the series with Pacquiao's Nov. 13 triumph at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, where he earned his 13th straight win -- even as he failed to secure his ninth knockout during that run -- by unanimous decision over ex-champion Antonio Margarito (38-7, 27 KOs).

Pacquiao earned the WBC's vacant junior middleweight belt and his eighth crown over as many different weight classes.

    HBO's "Boxing's Best" lineup:

Monday, Dec. 27 at 12:00 a.m. -- Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley

Monday, Dec. 27 at 1:00 a.m. -- Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana

Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11:00 p.m. -- Kelly Pavlik vs. Sergio Martinez

Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 12:00 a.m. -- Sergio Martinez vs. Paul Williams II

Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 12:20 a.m. -- Yuri Foreman vs. Miguel Cotto

Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 12:00 a.m. -- Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Michael Katsidis

Thursday, Dec. 30 at 11:00 p.m. -- Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito

Can only be a positive thing airing additional boxing on television.
However, they could make better choices; Mayweather v Mosley was far from "the best of boxing."
