Default Miguel Acosta vs. Bam Rios 135 WBA title

Im intrigue to this match-up especially with Acosta since over the win against then unbeaten Antillon by Ko, although i want Acosta to face Soto but it seems Rios vs Acosta will be in.

Boxing - Rios to challenge Acosta

Acosta wins againts Moses, Antillon i guess
    Rios with Peterson

    Whos your pick?

Think Acostas win over Antillion looks even better after Urbano went thru war with long term and entrenched Soto. No guessing.....was a quality undoing of a solid strong pro by Acosta.

Rios is massive strength and full of desire. Honestly not a whole lot to the imagination after that though. A certain face full for anyone. Acosta is cagey as they come. Not sure 1 round in 7 months preps you for onslaught of Rios really Split but I lean towards guile and skill to undo Rios in a close one.

Sick of these fucking corrupt organisations, what the fuck happened to John Murray being the number 1 in the division??

It should be Murray fighting in this fight.

What makes Rios a tough SOB is he's not scared and he shows you just that.
He brings it and doesn't let off.

Like his style but not his personality.

I guess both Acosta and Rios had good wins its really a good match up, although Murray could face Soto hoping him some exposure in U.S.

No doubt regarding Rios when his on the ring, I guess Acosta so under rated over the wins againts the contender Antillon and then champion (Paulus Moses) really it should be a good fight.

    Same here.

On the fight...I lean towards Rios. But in all honesty I'm not too familiar with Acosta apart from the Antillon fight.

Agree his style and grit in the ring are very likable...Too bad he is an asshole of a person....But hey let him keep looking up to Margarito and praise old plaster paws.....he will end up just like him....Except he will fall long before winning multiple titles....His style is not a hard one to figure out and a boxer with a decent chin will pick him apart...

His annoying yells after he fights were annoying enough but his participation of making fun of Roach and his parkinsons really made me dislike the kid....I would love to see this kid in with JMM or Khan he would be beaten into the almost was catagory he will end up in eventually anyway

Man I like Rios...but I like face first young prospects getting beat more. Think tricky Acosta survives early

Great to see DeMarco back. I still believe

I think rios will win, but I think Acosta will give him a good fight, possible upset, if you consider the champ winning a upset.

Curt Menefee Yeh they have essentially imported Acosta (aka trinket holder) for the heavily pushed Rios. Rios should come out varied and busy...Acostas uppercut and guile sank Urbano late

Long road back for rangy DeMarco but he was really improving prior to Valero mugging him. Nice finisher

Well thought out 1st round for DeMarco and spearing Reyes with jabs and straight lefts. Cut over Reyes left eye, he's slow but he's pressing. Demarco picking his spots and lands big right & left hook combo to end 2nd. Shapping up for long night in Sanchez corner unless he explodes on Antonio
