Boxing - Brewster Announces Retirement

he's had unsuccessful surgury on his left eye and can no longer see out of it. Thinks Robert Helenius tainted his gloves in their fight which he claims caused the problem.

Well I hate it that Lamon couldn't get his eye fixed and the stuff with Helenius seems sketchy. Lamon was a good hard nosed fighter and gave his all in the ring and was in some classic fights. The Lyakhovich fight was a great one.

Probably the most exciting Heavyweight fight i've seen live. Was brilliant.

How sad. Lamon was a good fighter with great potential when he was prepared.

Hope he made some decent money and was smart with it, hasn't been the same for a few years now. Also have to agree with the other brewster and lyakovich was awesome.
