Default Haye v Klitschko(s) not happening - POLL : Who do you blame ?

A few months ago I blamed the Klitschkos for avoiding Haye, then I blamed Haye now this fight with Adamek in Poland for September seems a priority for Klits......to be honest I don't know.

So lets have a poll, just select an option - who's to blame ? who's got no bottle ? and who's milking the $ out of the title without taking any risks ?

I voted Haye. He seems to be the coward. But to be honest, he needs the Klitschko's more than they need him. If they retire now, Vitali will be recognized as a top 20 HWY weight and Wlad will also be seen as a top heavy. Haye will be seen as the man that dominated and ko'd a old Ruiz.

Haven't we done this already? Well anyway, they're both to blame. If the Klitschko's were more reasonable in negotiations, if Haye wasn't such a prima-donna, if Adam Booth wasn't such a self rightious smug bastard, if Sauerland weren't involved, if they'd both stop playing stupid games in the media, then maybe we'd have a fight. I'm almost past the point of caring now. I would kind of like to see Solis drop the weight and destroy everyone, or Adamek go on the rampage and destroy everyone. Just start again. No prima-donnas, no ridiculous fight my brother rematch clauses, no Adam Booth. Just 2 guys who actually want to fight and entertain.

I've had plenty of discussions with Lyle about this, and one thing I can agree with him on is that Adamek has done the right thing here. Worked his way up, no shortcuts, stayed out of the media, fought a number of solid Heavyweights and then positioned himself for a shot. I'm at the point now were I hope The Klitschko's, Haye, Holyfield and any other old bastard retire, Arreola fucks off to the buffet, Valuev joins the circus and Adamek wins a title because I'm sick to the back teeth of all this bullshit. I'd rather watch a marathon of John Ruiz fights than hear them argue in the media anymore. Either fight like men and stop bitching or fuck off!

We all know Haye DIDN'T want to fight the Klitschko's, based on his interviews.
But, when Wlad officially called him out in a video, i thought he really WANTS this fight badly.
Later, when he gets the chance to get the fight, he choses to fight Chisora. Then schedules a september bout with Adamek in Poland. The man who fights 3 times in 2 years, schedules 2 fights in 5 months and STILL pretends that he can fight Haye between them. I mean come on, we all know Haye is a coward BUT now its clear that Wlad NEVER wanted a Haye fight as much as it looked in the video he made.

Although it would be a big event, for me this is not the biggest fight to be made in the heavyweight division.

I voted Haye but certainly don't put the Klits blameless. Basically Haye wanted a big money shot at the best without earning the shot with his ring exploits at heavy, he almost pullet it off but ended up well and truly overplaying his hand (sayin he's retiring and that they need him more BS) and the Klits called him on this.

I agree with you, I'm sick of this too.

Clearly it's Hayes fault. Both Wlad and Vitali have agreed to fight him, signed contracts and made the deals only for Haye to pull out both times, once for a back injury and once to fight Valuev instead.

How many times can you pull out of a fight and not be expected to fall down the negotiations order?

Wlad has rewarded Adamek for being willing to fight anyone and for being a stand up guy, easy to do a deal with. Also his resume is more impressive than Hayes who has thus far fought only joke opponents in his heavyweight 'reign'.

I wouldnt use the word scared but I think they are equally to blame.

Im more disappointed in Haye though. We know what to expect from the Klitschkos. They are quite happy to fight bums at home but Haye is the one with this self imposed retirement date so he should be the one forcing the issue and making it happen.

The klits blame Haye, Haye blames the Klits, who you blame is just your own personal preference.

I will say though if both klit fights are out of the question, Haye should retire now. there's no one else out there worth fighting.

Haye has acted like a Klit
I'm fed up with this topic until/if something really concrete happens that means it will happen. It's a shame it isn't going to probably this year, but we have to move on.

As I've said in some similar thread, I blame Amir Khan for this. It's neither the Klits or Haye's fault but Khan's for not moving his fight date and making Sky choose him over this fight.

    So Khan is to blame.

Well said, Baggins. I totally agree. Haye appears to be a bullshit artist and a prima donna kebab. As has been mentioned above, hats off to Adamek for doing it the right way. He has gone up, stayed busy, kept his trap shut and now has his shot. A solid likeable fighter. Haye on the otherhand is an abominable gobshite. Let him retire on his 25th birthday for all I care. I don't care anymore. Let him retire with his 2 dozen fights and a myriad of empty promises.
