I was ringside at the fight and thought it was very close but did not score it.It was a great fight when you consider that they both took it at 3 weeks notice.
Who do won it?

I had Booth taking it. Arthur was winning early on but Booth took over in the 2nd half of the fight.
It was a close fight, in fact in scoring it i had it a draw, but for 1 judge to score it five rounds to Booth was a joke imo.
As ya say decent scrap considering the time they had to prepare for the fight !

I scored the fight watching it on tv and I had it 116-116 a draw!
Great fight to watch live.
Dont know how much they got paid but they earned every penny.

I had it 115-113 Booth.
I had it very close but Booth showed his class in the last third and was landing the more hurtful punches. The fact that I had money on Arthur made the fight more depressing for me as it went on...
I had Booth winning it. He threw less but what he did throw was far more meaningfull. Good scrap though and one I wouldn't mind seeing again with both men given longer to prepare.
I had Booth winning it by three points. I had exactly the same score card as Jim Watt. Which is a first.
i did not actually score this fight but at the end of the fight thought booth had definitely won
think happy thoughts
Arthur won the first 2 rounds without a shadow of a doubt,he boxed Booth's head off by using his advantage hight and reach, but Booth came out in the third round and started throwing leather as his old self and what Arthur did wrong was get in with close quarters with Booth and trade with him.If Arthur kept his distance and boxed by using his long jab and staying out of Booth's firingline he would have maybe won it.It was a great fight and massive cridit to both boxers.Their've both had their ups and downs outside the ring in life and are a credit to the dommestic level.Booth should go for a european title next and Arthur should crack on and keep fighting.I remember Arthur boxing alot in my local town here in the north east of england about 8 years ago and i've always rated him especially at the dommestic level, but i lost track of him due to him going out of the big dommestic scene in boxing(for whatever reason)Great fight.I would say it was really close but maybe edge it to Booth as his work rate during half way through the 12 rounded paid off and edged it.Shame to have a loser but both boxers were both winners that night for the skills their show.
Well done lads,entertaining fight!
