Default Giovanni Segura vs. Ivan Calderon II Signed for April 2nd, Mexico

Breaking news: Segura-Calderon II on for April 2 | RingTV

I didn't see the first fight, but heard it was one of the best of last year. You see a different outcome or not? I've felt Calderon has been fading and noticed it particularly in the first Mayol fight, so I'd expect a repeat.

I saw Segura back in 2005, maybe his 8th or 9th fight. Good puncher.

i'm pretty sure that Segura will probably win again but this time by UD, but Calderon seems highly motivated for this rematch and has been calling for it since he lost, i wouldn't count him out at all, he's one of the smartest and technically skilled guys in the game (although age is catching up with him) and i'm sure he's going to fight a smarter fight this time around, my pick just cause i've been backing the guy since day 1 is going to be Calderon by decision

Calderon has had a HOF career, and has been a fine Puerto Rican world champion. But given his age and the weight he fights in... I see the rematch as an uphill battle. The first thing you lose with age is your speed and reflexes, and Calderon depends on that inmensely. Heaven knows he has no KO power.
