It looks like Montiel saw that left hook coming and he was looking right at it but couldnt do anything about it cause it was coming so fast.

Nonito is scary fast/accurate. The duck/slide-under counter left hook at the first round was a beauty.

Montiel hopefully is alright, but he looks like a child being told no you cant have that toy. One of the funnier looking ko's I've seen. Montiel looked like he was ok after the fight though.

Nonito impressed me with speed and power. Finished Fernando the same way he finished Darchichan with that left hook as he came in.

It's been a disappointing year of boxing for me. All my guys keep losing. I will start rooting for the other guy, maybe that helps .

His temple had a welt on it though, that was a hard perfectly placed temple shot, and his temple was welted after the fight so he needs to get that looked at.

It might not have phased him, sometimes the temple works when the chin doesn't. Doesn't around the nose work also because it cuts off the air. It depends when, where, and against who.

it was a perfect punch and it was so effective cause it landed on his temple, completely disoriented him, it probably wouldn't have been as effective if he would have landed on the chin, maybe would have just rocked him a bit but i don't hint he would have dropped him
