    Just to follow on...

Nonito Donaire: I Would Love To Fight Moreno Next - Boxing News

Donaire says he hopes the fight happens. Article also suggest that if Abner Mares wins the Bantam tournament, a fight between Mares and Donaire is unlikely because of the whole Top Rank-GBP feud.

Another good fight for Nonito. Mares would be better, but this is solid.

If I'm not mistaken Moreno is ranked 2nd in Ring's ratings for BWs. If that is true it would be for the lineal championship. So excellent fight indeed if it comes to fruition.

Nice... we get to see Nonito looking up to an opponent for a change. This Moreno guy is 5 foot eight in height and kind of a slick boxer right? Ought to be a good one!

I like Mares a lot. But Moreno is actually the better fighter. For now that is. I rather see Moreno-Donaire now than Mares-Donaire. Only cuz I can see Mares-Donaire happening down the line. I don't see that for Moreno-Donaire

This. I think Moreno could potentially prove very tricky, although I'd still favour Donaire's mix of power & speed. Moreno has excellent defensive skills & I could see him really frustrating Donaire, but after how sharp he looked on Saturday, I'd be hard pressed to pick anyone against him below 126.

I was thinking like this will give Donaire a true test to higher division. But Moreno only have 10 KO's in 30 fights.

Donaire will break him like a twig.

Hehehe! I was able to view Anselmo's bout with Sidorenko.. he made a good account of himself there. However, his main handicap after viewing that, against Nonito, would be the absence of power in his mitts. He'd be like a jewel without a case/safe for a most accomplised thief!

    I just saw it...

He's got quick hands, good footwork, and elusive. But his head is pretty steady. He looks very predictable too.

I don't know why they call him a slick boxer. He looks stiff to me.
