this guy was a good ref..........what were the circumstances of his death?

I think he committed suicide?

Shot himself in the head i think. Tyson hated him after the first fight with Evander and demanded that he did not ref the rematch. He must have thought that Halpern would DQ him after the first bite rather than let him get away with it so he could do it again. Not actually knocking Mills Lane here I agree that a fight of that magnitude should have had a fair chance of going on!
