It doesn't even warrant a question. Groves totally owned him. I've never seen a fighter get so badly mugged off as DeGale was. Brilliant stuff.

Hahaha, bang on. If the ground could have opened right up and swallowed DeGale he would have been over the moon I'm sure. The moment where he tried with all his might to make a statement, and then completely forgot what he was going to say. That would have been the spot right there. His PR people, if he has any, must have been biting their fists for most of the interview.

yeah that was totally cringeworthy. then when he said he'd ko groves inside 4 rounds, groves sticks his hand out asking him to bet on it, degale backdowns with his voice quivering. degale still looked devastated when they were doing the prizefighter draw

DeGale is borderline retard, but he's still going to win

It was hilarious to watch im sure they were shaking hands afterwards saying yeah we building it up nicely. Groves seemed calm whereas de gale seemed flustered. Also how funny were Hopkins false bottom set teeth hahahaha.

If you were going on that interview you would put your house on Groves, but unfortunately te talks better than he fights.

I thought he was awesome in that interview! Loved the "Johnny, do you want to sit next to James" comment, which was spot on.

Something just makes me feel I'm still not sold on DeGale, I just can't fully decide exactly why.... I just think its his lack of power. Smith is not a good measuring stick IMO as he marks up and cuts really easy, plus he never really beat anyone of that great a note. No way on this planet that George Groves is 4 rounds work for DeGale thats for certain.

Groves spoke half the amount of words but said twice as much.

    Cool calm and collected.

Loved the offer of the hand to degale to take the bet, degale not shaking made him look like a chump!

    Good comments to Johnny nelson

these points aready mentioned i know. I been having discussion on my fbook and nobody thinks groves can win, the way i see it is as George said last night people are judging him on the Anderson fight this is a bit short sighted but he hasn't had a lot of fights so not much to go on. I wasn't overly impressed with his most recent fight either though he looked a bit sloppy - Degale would take advantage of that savagely!

Going off their recent performances would have to pick degale but i WANT Groves to win as he has shown the class of a champion so far.

Someone mentioned lack of power with degale, i agree. Groves could win the fight on firepower.

Just booked my tickets this afternoon

I don't care for either fighter. But I see this fight as one-sided. In De Gale's favor. I think routs him

I think degale is yet another over inflated thick &@£&@£@& and I hope George gets this. Degale struggles to talk ffs and cones out with teenage insults ! I thought it was hilarious when groves stood to hand shake on the purse bet and degale looked like the 'moron'
Anyway I'm gonna hope hope hope George gets thus come may because........ Well just because
It's nice to see David beat Goliath
    Cool,calm ,collected
Didn't turn up in trackies haha

That was funny Degale is not the most intellegent of people and almost sounds "punchy". Groves looked a class act hope he wins after watching that.

Agreed. He is one annoying little bitch. But I really think he has got the world at his feet as far as boxing goes!
