First one that springs to mind is Jeff Lacy at the hands of Joe. For a sustained 12rd beating that will take some....... well, beating.

Jeff Lacy did go down in the last round, as for the topic.

    Tex Cobb vs Larry Holmes
    Antonio Margarito vs Manny Pacquiao
Billy Collins Jr vs Luis Resto = Considering he was getting hit with loaded gloves
Jake Lamotta vs Sugar Ray Robinson 6
    Vitali Klitschko vs Shannon Briggs
Edwin Rosario vs Julio Cesar Chavez = Can't remember if there was a knockdown
    Larry Holmes vs Muhammad Ali
Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Arturo Gatti
    James Toney vs Iran Barkley

chavez v rosario was a really bad beating . if i remember rightly there was no knock downs. but edwins eyes were nearly shut , he really showed guts in that one , and i think chavez was the underdog.
correct that if its wrong guys .

Another beating - Jose Luis Ramirez vs Cornelius boza Edwards , a bad beatdown.

Ya right he did go down, I read the title of the thread and answered to that primarily.

As for not going down, then the Pac V Marg fight is a good shout. And the Vitali v Briggs, that was brutal.
