The problem is when a fighter plays his card to early, his current promoter stops making those big time fights. I hope Donaire keep fighting top guys.

funny how both Donaire and Pacquiao get this little image of being squeaky clean when both are crooks and dirty little fuckers

O come' on! If you were a salesman and offered by your employer $500k as a bonus to keep you happy because you sales potential was going through the roof you'd be happy. Happy until his competitor offered you $1 Million and said he would pay any legal costs if there was a problem with your contract. Now put on top of that the pressure of your wife saying "Don't wimp out honey! take the money!" "Our kids will be set and you don't even have to throw a punch". "The offer might never be there again!" When you get that kind of pressure put on you and have never been in that position before it's very hard not to take the money. And you can bet money that GBP had something to do with Donaire not going back to Top Rank to show them their offer.

I hadn't seen Donaire as being a gambler in the media's eye so there really is nothing to suggest he played GBP & Top Rank. And if he did, I would say he was being prudent and shrewd rather than being a crook.
