Thread: Matthysse vs Alexander

According to boxrec.com Devon Alexander will be facing Lucas Matthysse on June 25. This should be a very good fight . The undercard has Bundrage vs S.Powell .

If someone has heard of this card im surprised noone is talking about it, should be 2 exciting fights. PIck your winners.

I like this fight, and I'm thinking Matthysse will definately test Alexanders willingness to fight, maybe not as much as Bradley did. The way he shit out in the Bradley fight leaves a few question marks when the heat is on for me. Matthysse brings some heat, but I guess Alexander might like that and be able to use Matthysse's momentum for a KO similar to Urango. Who knows. Good fight though, I'd say 60 - 40 in favour of Alexander, but if he gets beat, it'll be a long road back.

Interesting fights. Alexander showed no heart against Bradley. Didn't he quit? Anyways, Alexander can box and Matthysse got outboxed by Judah for at least the first half of the fight. But at the same time Matthysse has some pop. maybe more then Bradley. Interesting fight.

K9 vs Powell is another interesting fight. There first fight Powell won. That was the double knock down fight. Since then K9 been training with Manny Steward. And won a title against a aging Cory Spinks. Interesting fight.

I think Powell outboxes him for close but clear win, which one judge sees all over the place. Meanwhile, I think being back in the Lou brings the best out of Alexander who will know he has a point to prove & I fancy him to stop Matthysse by accumulation.
