Default The "Pac Fan" Obsession With Mosley Knockdown

Somehow somewhere The Pac fan is obsessing with the Mosley Knockdown. Even several places within these forums the Pac fans have mentioned how this knockdown is what sets Pac over the top when comparing the Floyd performance versus Shane and the Manny performance versus Shane. I understand the excitement they muster given Shane hasn't been knocked down in a very, very long time. BUT.........

Did I miss the memo or announcement that this Shane Mosley was the same exact Shane Mosley riding a waive of confidence and readiness the same night he fought Floyd? Did I miss the other memo that stated Shane Mosley only got better since fighting Floyd? I'm sure I also missed the other memo that stated when Floyd fights someone and destroys them mentally that it's all erased come fight night over a year later when they fight Pac.

Floyd did not knockdown Shane. But Floyd fought a different Shane. He broke through Shanes physical and mental guard. He damaged the goods so to speak. Leaving us expecting nothing less then a Pac KO of Shane. Excuses will prevail that Shane ran. Whatever...... fact is...if Floyd fought Shane today we would see Shane knocked down again. And what you will see is Shane continuously knocked down shall he choose to keep boxing against the top competition. Floyd put Shane on his tumble down the stairs. So what Manny culd push a man who was already falling. You "Pactards" will never look at things with an unbiased boxing view. Just hold on to whatever you can now. Because when Pac has to fight someone other then these set ups then you will all be crying hes old. And sadly enough they have the next victim ready to go at a catch weight...JMM Oh fuckin geez I wonder who wins this one...LOL

Both Floyd and Manny fought a shot Shane who couldn't let his hands go.

Neither fight means anything in my view.

and even if shane was at his best neither fight means anything to suggest either fighter would win if they met

I'd say it's pretty clear where the obsession actually lies.

The only person seemingly obsessed with Pac on this site is you mafiajoey. The other day you made a thread complaining about the amount of pac threads/chat (which was beyond moronic) and yet you continue to make Pac threads.

You have made yourself look like a complete cunt. Fact.

    Hope this helps.

Actually Vernon Forrest damaged the goods, Shane Mosley has never been quite the same since that fight.

It's silly to hate on either camp. People cried to have floyd fight shane, just to say shane wasn't shit. Funny how people only said that after floyd fought him though. Then some of these same people five minutes later flip flopped and tried to validate shane to justify pac fighting another fighter floyd didn't get credit for beating in the first place. Pac and floyd are just beating who is in front of them. Floyd should get full credit for beating shane, just as pac should. Those celebrating pacs knock down are no worse than those who made shane a semi god for hitting floyd twice in a round he still didn't even win. The fight was crap so pac fans are grasping at any positive moment. More power to em. Till someone beats the guy they kinds have a right to celebrate however they want

Just for you... hope this video helps you "be real" at some point in time... no rush! It will not support your obtuse point of view tho!

From DaMarcus "chop-chop" Corley, chief sparring partner of Shane at Big Bear this last camp...

    [U][COLOR=#800080]

Although the knockdown was in reality a big deal... no one on here, even Pacquiao fans made it out to be one. OK maybe except for a few.

Surely it is a matter of sensitivity... they did not want to agitate people on here more than they already are from last Saturday's Manny Pac win.

The win is what it is... it speaks for itself, but for a few individuals, it need be spelled out a bit to put things in the right perspective so as not to negate its merit.

For contrast...here is DeMarcus Corley prior to the fight, confidently predicting victory for Mosley. I say he is a pretty level headed and likable fellow, "real", not at all representative in any way to that of a "Mayweathered" or that of a tainted mind!

So the bottom line is, Pac and his "Pactards" suck, and Floyd is great? Wow, that's the first time i've ever heard that Joey, thanks for sharing that piece of "wisdom".

Anyone who thinks Mosley even at his prime beats either of these two is out of their minds. It is clear that it's more than just age, but also styles that made Mosley lose, these guys both took away his ability to throw punches. Who else has done it?
