Bro change the title of the thread because of the spoilers, but yea i agree amazing i think there's strong arguement he could be top 10 of all time.

this was a great fight, i am real happy with the result, hopkins put on a masterpiece!!

It wasn't a masterpiece, but it was a very solid performance from a canny old vet. A masterpiece is something like Calzaghe/Lacy, a performance where your opponent cannot touch you and you are peppering them constantly.

It was a good showing though and it was good to see Hopkins get the win after being robbed last time out.

Amazing fighter , its staggering he keeps going at the top level.

That's what I thought when I saw his performance tonight. This homeboi is on PEDs to be fighting like that at age 46, lol. IMO it's just normal for the average joe to bring up PEDs to explain stuff out of the norm. But then not everyone's created equal.
My take on PEDs, I don't really give a fawk about it. I believe everyone takes it since there's always ways to cheat it. Heck even my co-worker takes it and he freakn plays recreational softball, haha. It wont' turn just anyone into a star or automatically make them great.
My bet is that Roy/Shane is still taking PEDs right now and see how their previous fight turned out. It's a competitive sport and it gives them that edge either win or loose.
Ali was also using PED's, see how he can bounce all 12 rounds like no other heavies.

Only problem with that is B-Hop has never had any controversy regarding PED's in his career. I see it's cool for anyone but Pac to be doubted.

OK, steroids can aid a fighter, but they're not that good, otherwise George Foreman might still be HW champion of the world.

there wasn't much talk about PED's until the master of PED's said he wanted someone tested so he could avoid the fight and keep his unbeated record....when i think it was HE who for years got away with taking them.........stop all this discrediting people who have never been positive on drugs test just because a coward uses it to avoid fights

hopkins is a true great that the likes of which wont be seen again in your lifetime...at 46 to twice out do a man in his 20's takes true skill and heart

I'm so pleased that Hopkins won. He's a master of psychological warfare, he's an incredibly intelligent fighter and it's just amazing that he can still perform like that at his age. It wasn't a masterclass but still a very good performance to out box and just out think a much younger, prime fighter.
