Felt rather gutted for him to be honest.
Credit? For what? Rhodes went out like a bitch. Fool didn't even try for like 10 out of the 12 rounds. And you think he deserves credit? The only thing he gets credit for is.........nothing. He doesn't deserve any fucking credit.
I think he was weight drained he weighed 152lbs never in his whole 16 year career has he weighed as low as 152lbs and he looked drawn and gaunt in the face he also didn't have the snap and power he normally has in his shots and for some reason when he did connect on Alvarez he wouldnt let his shots go. I dont know if it was the weight the heat or the high altitude but something wasn't right with Ryan but hat off to Alvarez he's a good little fighter he could be special.
yeah he didnt really put his neck on the line
it wouldnt suprise me if something was wrong coz alverez performance was by far better than anything i have seen him put together before
Matthew hatton made him look ordinary and rhodes made him look like a superstar
if rhodes and hatton fought youd expect rhodes to win a comfortable descision
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
Ryan had looked ripped for all the time they were in mexico i think they got weight wrong and Alvarez looked big on fight night and Ryan didn't look like he had put much on. Something wasn't right
Now I can agree without people thinking I'm being bias about Rhodes losing for wrong reasons!!
Yes drained and yes altitude.
Ya see Rhodes deserves more credit than anyone cos if he had the belt the WBC and golden boy would force Ryan to defend away from home!!!!
That's the truth!!! Regardless of that but did anyone notice ryans timing wasn't there??
Rhodes did everything right, he did not fight dangerous opponents, kept active as possible for his age, went early to acclimatise and should have been ready to give his best performance. Rhodes took a hell of a beating which he should get some respect for.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I thought Rhodes put up a pretty pitiful pathetic fight to be honest.
I mean he was tough and took an ass whippin, but he did nothing offensively and never really tried to do anything offensively. It was def worse than Clottey's effort against Pacqauio.
Matthew Hatton fought a MUCH MUCH more courageous fight against Alvarez than Rhodes did. By leaps and bounds.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
