Default 15th October London Boxing Memorabilia Fair

I know I posted this subject already but I managed to contact someone who wrote an article on last years fair. At the end of the article he said this years was October 22nd. I contacted him to confirm this date along with the venue and he emailed me this back: NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE.

    Hi there mate
No it's on the 15th of October and there's a new venue, much bigger than the last one so Chas and Kymberley tell me.
    Here's the new venue
It's at the Dick Collins hall in Redhill street, Regent's Park, Nw1 4DJ
If you need any more info just ask mate, start time I believe is from 1 30pm to 5 30 pm, no problem you asking, am going to get a preview up on the site 15rounds.com in the next few weeks mate.
    Michael

So if anyone is at a loose end October 15th I recommend you check it out.

Will be just my luck i'll end up having to work lol

Default Re: 15th October London Boxing Memorabilia Fair

I made it to the boxing memorabilia fayre today it was really good. very friendly atmosphere and loads of cool stuff!

I bought a Ken Buchanan signed card for £5 for a mate, Sibson vs Minter programme (my mate is seeing Sibsons neice so is going to get it signed for me) I got a Tim Witherspoon signed glove for £20 - the guy selling it had loads of signed gloves, shorts, boots all sorts of stuff. When we got on the train home my bird goes 'i heard him selling a witherspoon glove for £15 to someone earlier' WTF lol

For anyone who knows of him Dave Charnley was there, British and European lightweight champ from back in the day known as the Dartford destroyer. Fought Emile Griffith. 2 time world title challenger and he was sat with family he was very friendly signed my autograph book and i bought his autobiography too which he signed to me. I admit i hadn't heard of him but as i looked around the stalls there was old signed pics of him and everyone seemed pleased he was there. I have read up on him and after reading his book will consider myself a fan!

Not a bad afternoon out for £2
