Default Arum confirms what we already know

"That fight will never, ever happen," Arum said. "Ever, ever happen because of Mayweather."

You and i know Bob is full of shit 90% of the time, but i think we all know this fight is not going to happen anyway. I don't believe his reasoning for saying it's not going to happen, but i've completely given up hope on this fight.

If Mayweather doesn't fight Pacquiao it only confirms that he cares more about the 0 than his legacy.

This may be a reverse psychology on Arums's part. If Mayweather presents himself as a viable opponent, I don't think Arum or Pacquiao can say no.

    Let's see how Mayweather responds.

    He will retire I guess.

$Not reverse psychology! Its his way of getting more money in his stable. Bradley or a drain Martinez will be next. In hopes that it's Martinez and Bradley gets a shot at Mayweather. Arum is smart!!! He see dollar signs$

Aren't every promoter like that, they're there for the money? Otherwise, they would have instead run an orphanage.

Arum is protecting his cash cow, Floyd should call his bluff and sign the fight, he will beat Manny.

Seeingf how Mayweather dodged a 8 millions dollars fight against Margarito, I am pretty sure that Floyd's the one trying to avoid the fight, especially because Manny never ducked nobody. Beside, this shenanigans is boring me to death. Floyd-Pacman might be the one fight we all want to see but there are so many other intriguing fights around that I can't be assed to follow all the pseudo intrigues around that one.

If something doesn't get worked out between Pac & PBF right after Pac's victory over Marquez, I'd have to agree with Arum, it ain't never gonna happen.

You heard it here first! After Pacman KO JMM, Arum will say he's giving
Floyd days or even hours to make a deal. If not, Pacman will fight Bradley. Knowing Floyd is on his own time schedule.

Don’t understand Bob Arum. Many years ago when Manny fought JMM for the 2nd time and the result could have gone either way, wasn’t he saying there was no need for a 3rd fight, JMM was no good, etc.? All of a sudden JMM is a great challenge and a 3rd fight has to be made.

It is because JMM signed up with Arum, signed to fight at Manny's weight and there is very little challenges left for Pacquiao.

Arum is full of it. This wouldn't be the first time Arum has delayed a fight the public wants to see in an attempt to generate more interest and put lesser fighters in front of his fighters to pump up the public (and no, i don't consider Marquez a lesser fighter). The Pacman Marquez fight is going to be a war. I envision Floyd trying to make the fight with manny right after marquez (not giving him enough time to heal) and when Manny says "i need more time" Floyd will scream from the rooftops "See he's ducking me!!!". This is a winnable fight for Floyd but theres too much risk involved, and Floyd is anything but a risk taker.
