He Who Is Brave Is Free
Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
That's what im saying bruh.. Everything turned out the way it did due to KARMA, not because Cotto was that great, know what i mean?
Karma led Margarito to get his eyes bashed in by Pacman and Cotto capitalized on the handicap so how much credit does he really deserve?? How legimitate is this victory, that's what i wanna know...
Ok, I'll answer your questions one by one, starting with the last and most important one:
"How legitimate is this victory?"
Answer (please read carefully): It is more legitimate than the victory of convicted cheater Margafucko against Cotto in their first fight.
Now... as to "How much credit does he really deserve?"
Let's see... let me count the ways...
1. He bravely and gamely gave the opportunity to fight him to the convicted cheater who almost ended his career, and could have very well put his life in danger. You know... when he "quit", like boxing geniuses like VD like to say.
2. Don't forget that Miguel started at 140. And that he is a small 154. Margarito has the frame to fight at 160, and maybe even more. In the ring, he looked much bigger than Miguel. And yet, like our resident boxing genius said.... "he should've slugged it out in the middle of the ring with the cheater from the very beginning." Brilliant.
3. Cotto changed his style completely... back to the immaculate boxer he used to be in the beginning of his career. He stuck and moved.... he moved laterally incredibly well... he picked his spots to trade punches with the cheater.... etc, etc. It was a masterful display of boxing.
4. He didn't cheat back on Margafucko. He beat him fair and square. Gave him a one-sided, old-fashioned ass kicking. Me.... I would've pulled out a baseball bat and crushed his Neanderthal skull in.
5. He didn't go into a screaming fit after the fight, calling Margafucko names or anything like that (like I do). He just stared at him like the piece of shit he is. And for good measure, he answered Kellerman's question in the best way possible: "He means NOTHING to me." Hollywood shit right there.
But hey Finito......... quit egging me on. Or Outspoken is liable to come in here and accuse me of making yet another Cotto post. Then I'll be forced to tell him to eat shit.
Tito and Terrible, dont make me convince you cats..
I answered your questions. Don't I get any credit for that?
You made some good points and you deserve credit but I also saw a whole lot of speculations in that post bruh..
Cotto should legitimize himself at 154 by facing a young, healthy opponent now.. Canelo..
No more bums like Yuri Foremans, mayorgas, and one eyed handicaps like Margo.. Let's see him in a toss up fight.
It seems like everyone sees Mayorga winning this fight. I see it differently.
I sense that Margarito will stop him in the late rounds.
........ then he gets caught cheating again.
You're gonna fall out of your chair when you read this, but...... I for one don't think Cotto should hang around 154 too long. He just doesn't have the height, the build, the frame for it. I know he was starving himself at 140, but 147 is really his best weight. And I think he's even toying with going up to 160. That would be a HUGE mistake. Tall, lanky fighters have the best chance to traverse 4 or even more weight divisions. They start light, and then grow into their frames. Not much of a stretch for them. Let's see who his next opponent is.
