Thread: Margarito vs Mayorga?

I think this could be 1 heck of a fight for 2 guys on the decline of their careers. And they both play the villain roles perfectly. Thoughts?

This fight should have happened 03 right after Margarito beat 6head lewis but Don King wasnt going to let Mayorga anywhere near the killa..

I guess this fight still makes sense for several reasons. I mean where else can they go at this point..

Margarito beats Mayorgas ass anyday of the week but with his eye, u just never know... He needs to just retire. I dont want Mayorga winning via a doctor stoppage like Cotto did..

Margarito is just in a bad position right now.. It's the eye..

Basically the more I'm proved right about how fucking shit Tony always was, the bigger my shit-eating grin gets. lets make it happen..it would be a fun fight at the very least

Not sure who would win, but it would be entertaining. Although they're both often viewed as "bad guys", I would be solidly rooting from Mayorga's corner to knock the shit out of Margarito. Mayorga gets under people's skin, and does a lot of trash-talking, some of it personal. But he's not a convicted cheater like Margarito. I wish they would make the fight.

Margarito doesn't beat a world class opponent or even anyone who was world class in the last 3 yrs, and it's not cause of the eye, it's just cause he's ain't shit without his special wraps, Mayorga busts him up, fight shouldn't happen if Margarito values his life

Anyway, this would be a great fight. the build up would be crazy with the stuff these two would come out with. As for the fight I don't know how it would turn out but I'll be rooting for Mayorga because he will have the funnier insults.
