For me, the Hatton that fought Pac wasn't even Hatton. T Rex arms all over the place and all kamikaze. Just tragic. Against Malignaggi, Hatton was still past his best, but looked sharp in dishing out punishment without taking anything much back.

I am choosing a non-peak Hatton because I think peak Hatton destroys Khan, but I find this matchup more interesting. Hatton isn't at his best but is still dangerous. Khan has his strengths, but also such obvious weaknesses.

    Who do you have winning?

    Khan beats Hatton.

Malignaggi has no power. Khan does. Khan is better skillwise too.

Khan now would still beat prime Hatton.

Hatton. The pressure Hatton would put on Khan would be too much, early on 1-3rds Khan would have joy, but once Hatton closes the distantce and get's inside Khans reach, I would see a late stoppage through hard body shots.

    Sorry for the smiley.

None of us should forget Hattons own INCREDIBLE footwork. He closed down opponents like no other. On his feet and bang, there goes the gap. Khan can get off great combos, but if the space is gone, his effective work is erased. And Hatton would constantly cut the gap. Then the body work comes in, then he works up top and then separate. Rinse and return.

I really struggle to see Khan going the distance with Hatton, my only worry is Hatton not quite being the same as he was against Tszyu. The output was good, but not energizer bunny good. The chin had been checked. Though in truth Khan is knocking nobody out either. Zab? Pfft.

I would back THIS Khan (the one whose punch resistance has dramatically improved) to KO Hatton in rounds 1-6.

If it goes past 6 I'd back Hatton to stop Khan in rounds 8-11.

If that Tommy Cooper cunt from the other night is reffing i'd back a double DQ.

Khan now beats any version of Hatton.

Miles, i think you are forgetting that Hatton has looked terrible when he's faced anybody with hand speed who can throw combinations. He simply has never had any answer for it.

I honestly think it would be quite one-sided.

The Hatton we saw against Pacquiao was the same Hatton we saw against everyone else he fought at world class level. He just looks that bad against speed and volume (not to mention southpaws). He had poor defence and a very average chin. He also had no survival instincts whatsoever, so he had no way of reacting to a clean punch.

I find your hatred for Khan quite worrying to be honest. I think you should see someone.

How can u say hatton had an average chin?? He spent half his career using his face to block punches!! and still survived to win loads of fights, ie kosta tyszu, collazo etc, even against floyd he took alot of punishment to last till last few rounds, i agree he was very 'face first' defence tho..... Thats probley he ended up shot all of a sudden!!

Easy, he was hurt by Rios, Magee, Phillips, Collazo, Pacquiao, Mayweather and Lazcano.

Quite a few fairly average punchers in there. He's hardly Steve Collins.

I lean towards thinking Khan would stop Hatton, then I think of how Khan doesn't deal well with contsantly being chased down by pressure fighters. If Hatton could take Khan's shots, I think Hatton would win a decision, but he could just as easilly be KOed.
