This is music to Bob Arum's ears. As the article stated if Mayweather does serve the time he'll be getting out in March and most likely will push back his May fight which will give Bob an excuse as to why Manny cant wait for Floyd

Yup. I thought he'd get a suspended sentence, maybe a fine and some community service. I'm pleasantly surprised by this.

Not really if 90 days is suspended that means he will get 3 months actual jail time, which will likely be reduced again for good behaviour.

If he surrenders Jan 3rd I bet he's out by the end of February.

He could start training again in March and still be ready to whup Manny's ass in May.

That would be a hell of a comeback

He could pull it off too, he battered Ricky Hatton whilst simultanaeously competing on Strictly Come Dancing. It would be fucking gangsta if he coul come straight from the slammer to beat the Pacman/

All true. I guess it's harsher than many of us will have expected because we didn't really expect him to be given a custodial sentence. It isn't a particularly long time, especially when you take into account that he's unlikely to serve more than 2 months.

Oh get a grip, not like he died. This doesn't have anything to do with him being a solid boxer as it does being a fantastic asshole who thinks he walks on water. He was held to account for his actions. He put himself there.

I actually just read it was 3 months with 100 hours of community service. They are going to appeal for it just to be 100 hours of community service with children. If he does serve any time, on a 3 month sentece he will probably only do about a month.
