Thread: Ricky Burns should be made the full WBO champ soon

Especially when Juan Manuel Marquez is ducking him by going after Tim Bradley.......YOU must know im joking here lol.

I didnt expect Marquez to come back down to 135lbs to fight Burns to defend his title as the WBO stipulated. He has done all he can at 135lb and is chasing that last fight with Pacquaio , the Bradley fight as ive stated on another thread is a top class fight that i hope happens.

Regarding Burns...he will now becoem the 135lb WBO champion because of his win vs Katsidis. Burns as some will know is slated to fight in Glasgow on March 10th although no opponent has been announced yet.

There is another thread on here about Kevin Mitchell , i expect that when Mitchell and Burns come through thier fights in Feb - Mar they will be matched here in the UK in the summer...Hopefully Glasgow (as its where im from).

Certainly a very good domestic fight to look forward too and if anyones asking....i backing Burns to beat Mitchell something like 8-4 in rounds.

I really hope the Burns/Mitchell fight gets made, if Mitchell is in the right frame of mind and has a good camp Mitchell wins the fight comfortably, maybe a late stoppage.

Hopefully thats the case mate but i cant see his promoter doing that unless its forced by Burns and his team to go to the states
