Love him or hate him, old Don did promote some great fight's,
you would see him walking into the Ring, with champ, and walking
out with one, weather he promoted both fighter's or not.
There is a man that can talk, he gave us great fight's and he is very
entertaining, far from a Saint I no but ho is.?

Anyone is better for Boxing right now than that P.O.S Bob Arum..we woulda had MM vs Pac 3 by now..just that most of the money would have gone in Don Kings pocket

Ive always liked Don King as a promoter..

He may have killed a man and robbed bunch of his fighters but as a promoter to the fans, he was a treat.. He really used to be a boxing fan's Santa Claus.

Take his stacked PPVs undercards in the 90s for instance.. I remember those days when he'd have big names like Finito, Terry NOrris, Chavez, and Whitaker all fight on the same card.. imagine that.

We couldnt imagine Bob doing something like that for us.. Fuck him.. he a vampire trying to suck every ounce of blood greedy bastard..

I never thought Id say this was Don King is the lesser evil imo..

Never could say he did not get us great fight's,pity in the 80 's he did rule he
would give you more top fight's in 1 year than these lot gave you in 10year's.?

He is a thief and would have bled us dry like Arum has done.

King definitely had a knack for being a little out there... but gotta respect the dude. Much better than what we are left with now.

TBH, I am not sure that he's relevant to boxing anymore. He promote very little cards, his stable has thinned considerably and everybody working with him seem to have either difficulties to be paid or to get 2-3 consecutive bouts in a respectable period of time.

King is getting old, otherwise the other promoters would be quaking in their boots and fighters would be getting ripped off. Oh yes they still are, heard about Briggs only getting £25,000 out of a £750,000 bill.

Don King did those 2-4 world title fights on the 1 bill loads of times , i used to love watching those. I remember Frank Warren did a cracker in the UK years ago with robin reid , steve collins and naseem hamed all defending thier world titles
