Default Miguel Cotto to leave Top Rank

Leaving Arum was the best thing that floyd did for his career and cotto made the right choice.

I agree. He should be his own promoter. As long as he keeps his current trainer.

here is the translation from Spanish to English below.

    PrimeraHora - Portada

    _______________________
Oscar de la Hoya did so at a time, and Floyd Mayweather, Jr., followed the route later.

During their respective careers in boxing, both were tied contractually to the Top Rank company until they chose to break that professional relationship with promoter Bob Arum to enjoy the freedom to be them their own heads.

Apparently, the Puerto Rican Boxer Miguel Cotto might be following in the footsteps of both and is embracing the idea of continuing his career without a promoter who rule the road.

"The relationship between Michael and Arum has always been excellent, but the intention is to negotiate fight to fight for so see what doors are opened with other promoters," said first time Gabriel Peñagarícano, legal advisor of FC superwélter (154 pounds) of the World Boxing Association (AMB).
