    Default Boston,MA Boxing

My name is Patrick Foley. I am from Boston. Here in Boston we are known as the city of champions. Funny thing is Boxing has taken a huge backseat here. I can only remember in my lifetime 1 major fight in MA. It was about 5 years ago at the Fleet center(TD Garden). We have the best fans in the world and I know with the right Managers, and the right Promoters we can get back this sport that used to be so strong and have so many loyal fans.

While I was growing up I can remember some of my strongest memories, sitting on the couch every Saturday night watching the PPV fights with my Father. Its memories like this that I cherish, and hope to help bring to others. My goal is to bring Championship boxing back to the where it was in the 90’s, so everyone can experience the excitement boxing brings.

I am planning on working hand and hand with local trainers and fighters, as well as with local venues to make a push toward restoring boxing to our great state. Thunder boxing is an idea I have been working on for a long time. This will undoubtedly take time but I am willing to put in all of my effort and I hope that I can bring together some support and will strive toward getting a fight together in the near future.

I am wondering how many of you are from MA, and would be interested in watching some Live fights in the near future?

I am in Boston too and agree that we are a forgotten venue for events. I can't believe that they use Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, and the XL Center instead of the Garden.

That being said, FNF at Mohegan on 2/10. I am going. FNF still let's you get good seats for usually good action for a good price.
