Default Jason Booth -Kid Galahad fight

Is anybody watching this scrap for the International WBC super bantam weight title ? It's on Channel 5 from 9:55 and features Chris Eubank JR and Lenny Daws in amongst the undercard, not sure who each are fighting. Booth has been great for British boxing but it seems this may clash with Chisora -Klitschko so will try and record it, if the missis will watch Casualty next door

I'm going to watch it. Should be a good night, my mate is on the undercard he trains out of the ingle gym and has regular sparring with kid Galahad.

Cool, that will make it more interesting. What does your mate make of kid then? Booth was made to look very ordinary by Quigg, but I rate Scott so hard to know if Booth is past it or not.

Booth has definitely started to slide but not sure he has gone far enough beyond his best for Galahad to beat him.

Galahad is a 10 fight novice, it wasn't that long ago people were talking about Booth vs Munroe! crazy times. Quigg looked a monster against him and showed that Booths days of top level fights are just about over. Booth should be able to hustle his way to a win, if he can't I reckon it's time to bow out gracefully.

Just got back from the fight, pretty good card. Kid Galahad looked good, booth is definitely past his best though. My mate won which was good, he thinks Barry is a good boxer, slick and hard to hit but, lacks a good dig. Which is pretty much what he shown tonight.

Kid Galahad is good, that was a good fight from both of them. The Kid reminds me of Herol Graham, all the Sheffield boxers were there supporting him saw Kell Brooks and Witter.

Eubanks did not look that good last night, said he had a hand injury.

Also Tyson Fury v Rogan will be on.

Me too, uncanny resemblance in the way he moves and holds himself. He looked very polished for a ten fight novice.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Caught the last 2 rounds of Eubanks fight, I read that Ball was gona be well up for the fight. From what I could gather Eubank Jr had it all his own way the first 4 rounds (probably on natural talent) but then he started blowing out his arse and Ball's experience enabled him to take over. Injury or not I think Eubank was getting his arse handed to him in the final 2 rounds.

Definitely needs to work on his stamina, he will be very, very, very carefully matched from now on. If he makes it to 10/15 fights undefeated i'll be amazed. No doubt he is a good athlete but he is really a rich boy who wants to emulate his dad (nothing wrong with that just a shame it means getting punched in the face)

I feel he still should be fighting 4 round's only, he did not look so good last night but it's only his 2and
fight he has natural talent, give him time and in 12 or 18 month's time he may rise or he may fall.
But as you no there is no hiding place in this game and you will be found out.

Booth has done his shift, and the Kid was impressive in bursts but seems to lack in power, nowhere near ready for Quigg,Frampton or Munroe. I think any of those three knock him out. Missed Eubank fight Sky didn't record properly.

The fight ran over to the next slot which was a film so missed some rounds of the Eubank fight too.

Shame for Booth, real nice guy, really, really ugly, but a top bloke. Was a bit of a handover fight from one generation to the next.

I'm still unsure on Eubank, I don't think we'll know if he is any good for years yet, his name alone will get him to at least 15-0, maybe even to 20-0 before he starts fighting for British titles and getting tested.

Rumour has it he gave Groves the black eye and beat up cleverly. So he is a good gym fighter.

I feel he is a good fighter but he's not ready for Groves or Cleverly, you could be right he may be a good
gym fighter, let's not get past the fact he is a 2 fight novice.
As the saying go's easy does it.
