Default Orlando Salido says he'd like to break Broner's jaw.

Salido: I Want to Break Broner's Jaw, Get My Hair Brushed - Boxing News

haha Yes ! Salido is a lil smaller than Broner, but I think he'd have a good chance of beating the arrogant lil fuck. I mean Salido has already twice KO'd a better fighter than Broner in Juan Manuel Lopez.

No, I think your getting confused.

See Lopez "sparked" Ponce De Leon in a round.

Then Ponce De Leon beat Broner, out worked and out gutted him and was ROBBED.

I can see how you'd get confused tho

I have nothing against Galaxy, but I have everything against Broner and his undeserved sense of superstardom and arrogance.

I like Hulk he knows most his stuff & is passionate about the sport

But I ain't confused my man...

I had Broner winning the DeLeon fight 96-94, it wasn't pretty but it was a win! It was a close fight but in no way was it a robbery, a robbery is what we saw it the Abril fight!

I stand by my original post

I might be in the minority but it could be worse... I could be deluded as to how good Mayorga really was

Ponce fight with Broner was close but clear for Ponce I thought. Yeah Abril and Campillo both got FUCKED this year even worse.

I'll wager when Mayorga was champ at 147 he wouldn't have had too much trouble with Victor Ortiz or Andre Berto.

    I'm kid the Mayorga fans

I thought he beat Spinks! The Forrest fights were amazing!

I think he'd beat the Ortiz that fought Maidana. Tougher time against the post Berto version though imo

Berto would have been a great fight, something along the lines of Berto/ Collazo I'd expect. Judges would give it to Berto though with Hulk & Galaxy crying robbery...

Well Lopez is just about shot now, but there's no way Broner gets him out of there in a round. As for Salido vs. Broner, I hope this gets made i'd love to see Salido clown the clown.

It's going to be difficult for Salido to jump up in weight and maintain his effectiveness. If I were Salido, I would defend the title once, and wait for the winner of Celestino Caballero/Mickey Garcia. Actually, I would also reach out to Chris John and volunteer to fight him in Indonesia in a unification fight.

Tough to say really, the styles are so different here.. All the Ponce fights tell us is that Lopez hit harder than Broner, well duh. In hindsight, who knows whether Lopez caught him cold or would've struggled had Ponce weathered the storm.. Lopez is purely an offensive fighter, he practically can not defend himself. Broner is indeed a turd, but, his defence is impressive and he is improving. The two men are night and day, the only thing they have in common is being fucking delusional.
Also, Salido is a very physical fighter and I don't see him having much success jumping up in weight at all. I feel that Lopez' style really showcased him as a fighter, he was lucky that Juanma didn't have a couple of brain cells he could rub together imo.

I love when guys try to compare how one fighters did vs common opponents... as if its the be all & end all

    example:

Lopez zapped DeLeon but Broner went the distance; and?

Who cares? Look how Hearns & Hagler handled Duran...

Just saying, its not an exact science

Sticking with my original thoughts. Broner beats them both. Definitely blitz' Lopez & schools & possibly stops Salido late!

I would pick him against either of them as well at this point, be surprised if Lopez really comes back strong at all. It is a pretty tough spot Salido is in right now, I can't think of anyone he'd be better off fighting than Broner Would like to see him have a nice run but the forecast is kinda bleak given his style, at least imo.

Yeah like Rantcatrat said, target the Caballero/ Garcia winner or John, but those aren't easy fights!

Barros & the Gonzalez/ Rojas winner are no walk in the park

Dib might be his best option at the weight

Probably get a nice payday to face Broner
