Lynes v Witter also on the card for those who have mislaid the sleeping pills.

Watching the promos now, and I'm hoping for the Wale win, just for the sob story they just played.

Ah well. Wale looking well out of his depth here. I reckon Galahad gets a KO before we get to the halfway point if he keeps up the same attitude.

Not sold on Galahad. I think, Quigg, Frampton and Munroe could all stop him. Would be nice if Lynnes can beat Witter though, he is having a bit of a renaissance and fought really well last time out.

4-0 Galahad on my card, and hard to see Wale going the distance, though he may survive into the second half.

I agree that Galahad is likely to run into trouble as the standard of opposition increases, he is getting clipped by Wale, and that would increase as he steps up in class due to his hands down approach.

6-0 Galahad, but Wale is very brave fair play to him. Galahad does have plenty of workrate and moves well enough to avoid the hardest shots of Wales, just think he'll struggle with this style moving up in class.

If this goes to the cards it'll be 120-108 three times.

Doctor says that the cut on Wale was too bad to continue. Considering that this was a trinket title on the line, and Galahad had taken every round with aplomb, a proper stoppage, with Wale being very brave.

I know channel 5 are looking to promote 'the new generation' of boxers, but I would have preferred to see Lynes v Witter headlining myself. There's a British title on the line with two quality fighters, should be above Galahad IMO.

There we go then, in summary in my one man chat forum about this card, here's how I saw it:

Kid Galahad - winning every round before it was stopped. Looking good, but still too open and getting caught by a non-puncher like Wale means that heavier hitters will be licking their lips considering fighting him.

Chris Eubank Jr - Didn't look particularly active but also got caught a few times. He's been matched tough and this was a good test. When he came out in the last round, he was throwing some great shots and also showed that he's not glass jawed.

Junior Witter - Congrats for the old man winning a British title. They only showed 10,11 and 12, and Witter was very static, but was still good at countering. Apparently he took many of the early rounds quite aggressively.

Image of the evening is Junior Witter throwing his hands in the air as Colin Lynes was handed a bucket to vomit in. So good that Channel 5 showed it in slo-mo at the end of the show.

Eubank Jr. needs some work on his technique. His right hand is wide alot of the time.

Needs to throw a good stiff jab and do it consistently.

9-0 and this guy is the new Herol Graham, my favorite UK fighter. Hope he has better luck than the bomber did at world level.
