Think he could have def been that champ again if he stayed ACTIVE. It don't just fall in your lap overnight

This is good news. He was being moved by shots at a high volume lastnight.

you can't spend half a decade sitting on your ass at home, and then go out and fight a legit fighter.


I understand that he had reached the level where had been on HBO in fights for a while, but when that runs out, you need to at least go out and fight every 6 months.

Beat a very beatable guy on FNF and pocket 25k and stay sharp. If he had done so then at least if no one had given him a chance in a big fight for a while, he would have been sharp when that chance did come.

I agree.

There was a time he was P4p #3 on all major list. He thought he became popular after beating Mosley 2X and Trinidad. Wasnt the case.

Prior to his fight Saturday with Quillin, Winky had lost a one-sided fight to Paul William in April 2009. I thought Winky was done with boxing after the loss to P-Willie, so the Quillin fight was a bit of a surprise comeback.
Wright won some titles, and big fights, and had a nice career, but lets face it, the pug wasn't all that marketable or fun to watch.
