I didn't watch the whole fight, so I can't really comment on who won.

When I was watching I thought Manny's "dominance" was a bit overstated by the HBO people. The crowd would go nuts every time Manny threw a left and were predictably silent when Bradley landed a body shot. Granted, I did think Manny was winning (and I'm a fan).

But when does the "house" guy get robbed? It would make more sense if Bradley dominated and Manny got the decision.

Wild (or not that wild) conspiracy theories: Arum wants to avoid a Floyd fight (meh); some talk about late money in on Bradley so some serious gamblers bought the fight, etc.

The whole thing is strange. I expect the "house" guy to get the corruption, that's what's right (wrong) with boxing.

The only other fight I can think of where the house guy lost was the OScar-Tito fight.

there is this being reported. Apparently late money bought in a lot, like it was -432 @ 2 PM today, and then closed at -392.

Both cash cows though, Bradley is so not a cash cow. The opposite of that.

I'm struggling to get my head around this.

If this was corruption I don't see how it involved furthering Bradley's career. It was about gambling money, some kind of weird Arum/Pacquiao/Maywether triange, etc.

That word sums up what may have been wrong with this decision.

Even though I can't say, that seems to be the word.

But that's the point, its so odd. It would be so much more normal if corruption screwed over Bradley.

What has happened to boxing? Now the golden boys are being screwed over? Oscar should come back just to be robbed.

Being a pro boxer is the equivalent of being a gay male bottom. Eventually the pro boxer no matter who he is or how accomplished he is, will be fucked in the ass.

It wasn't a one sided fight at all. It was a close fight, watch it again without the volume and HBO. Manny IMO won a close fight but it was very close. COmpubox showed really poor statistical accuracy tonight, and I think that scewed people's view on the fight.

With or without CompuBox..... Manny was 100 times more accurate. Bradley landed very few shots on Manny. But know it's obvious that Manny was going to need a knockout to win this particular fight.

In immediate hindsight, it wasn't the worst I've seen. There were spots late where Manny literally took off, banged his gloves together and just co existed. Tim really looked dead on his feet in spots in 10th and the "old" Manny would have punched holes through him but didn't. No way I thought Bradley "took" the win but maybe when judges get that flavor of the month bug, see a guy looking human etc

If it was a conspiracy it was DEF a take Fredo out on the canoe moment....Arum doing his best Godfather

Watch the fight again, Bradley missed a lot of haymakers, but he landed a lot up the middle and lot of body shots which Manny barely threw. He also countered Manny a ton where Manny would come in with a left hand and Bradley would land a left counter hook, but he would also try to get out of the way of the cross so he would fall back off balance when in reality they both landed an effective blow. He often countered Manny, and often made Manny miss. Just download the fight tomorrow thats all I ask.

I don't know if anyone noticed but before the decision was announced Manny was whispering something to Roach.
I think he caught on to what was happening and told Freddie.

...and thats why it doesn't matter who the house fighter is.
all he wants is bad decisions in big fights. the more outrageous the better.
