I saw my daughter earlier who bought me a nice card and a mug that say's "Grandads are supposed to be old and wrinkly, not this one!" and now I have my Grandson who is babbling away in the corner, so for me the day is already perfect.

it makes my day.

I got nothing but it was a good day.

I did get a card from my son who forgot to give it to me. It was a picture of a tie but he said it was a fish. I guess it is the thought that counts.

Ours is the second Sunday into September I think, fuck knows why we are different than everyone else on the planet We even celebrate the Queens birthday not on her actual birthday but on a Monday so we get a long weekend out of it.

Children to me are an irrelevant waste of life and so I much prefer a life where I am free to indulge in whatever I want.

I am smart. Children are for those other people who cannot help but impregnate and thus spend years of a life on boring things.

I prefer a life more practical where I can buy what I want for myself without the need to consider peculiar permutations of my own genes.
