    Default Ricky Hatton comeback

So Ricky Hatton is going to come back I reckon.

    He isnt looking too bad.

And Amir Khan looks like he wants some of Hatton.

So do you reckon we will see Khan-Hatton in the UK?

If Hatton does comeback I think it'll be against Paulie Mallignaggi. He looks to have lost a lot of weight though. His face has bones in it again.

I hope Hatton can comeback, we all thought he quit too soon. He was always exciting even when he was being KO'ed. He needs to realize he was fighting the best, who would have been the best in any era! I miss watching Hatton go to the body, the guy was relentless! I could almost feel them through screen! If he does come back I'm hoping for a couple warmup fights
first. The thing about comebacks is that they fizzle out sometimes. I hope for the best result.

I think even Malignagi could fiddle a decision over someone whos been retired for 3 years. He might need to call someone like Peter Buckley out of retirement otherwise any comeback could end just as embarringly as the Pacquiao fight...

Hatton exciting? Until he stepped in the ring perhaps.

Still, he's had three years to think of excuses if he loses again.

I hope hatton doesnt comeback but the signs are he looks like he is. The signs were there before the Pac fight that Hatton was on the slide abit.

Hatton was an exciting fighter just later on in his career he seem to smother his work alot and grab abit more imo. But he STILL was a v good fighter in his prime.

You mean he was exciting fighting washed up jouneymen and british level foghters until he fought a journeyman that could punch (Phillips). Even his defining fight (Tszyu) was a messy wrestling affair. He aws exciting against weak boxers but not the best.

Anyone who thinks Hatton wasn't exciting should raise their arms, yawn and take one of his trademark left hooks to the ribcage before finishing their sentence.

This one has simultaneous, double first-round KO written all over it.

I wouldn't want to get punched off Wlad either!

I think him coming back is a bad idea, might only be for the money for a start. Either way it's good to see him looking healthier instead of a disgrace to somebody who was a pro athlete.

I thought Hatton was pretty exciting when he was giving Floyd a hell of a fight and a run for his money up til the KO, which was also entertaining.

He'll be 33 or 34 years old with 3 years of inactivity. Doesn't sound like a good idea at all.

Hatton - Mayweather was a good fight, Hatton may not of been winning as many rounds but he was making Floyd work for 6 rounds. Hattons foot speed was very underrated.

I think he spent his prime years fighting b level fighters Warren kept him at that level to long imo. He was a pressure fighter that got hit so by time he stepped up to world class / elite level he had already peaked. Even at his peak tho hos record would still be the same with 2 loses pac and floyd were just to good for him and to good for nearly every1 they fight.
