Thread: Degale wants froch next year..

Is degale ready for this yet?
Froch is not getting any younger but i see him KO degale before the ninth round. Degale is quick and confident but his performance against groves made me think he lacked that killer instinct.
What are your thoughts?

He can want all he wants, the fight ain't happening!

Would be a massive step down for Froch which at his stage of his career he has no need to do.

Plus, next year Froch will fight Bute and Kessler, then probably retire. Maybe rematch Ward if he beats the other two.

Degale is in cloud cookoo land, there is no way Froch is going to fight him,
Degale has done nothing since his defeat to groves to get anywhere near
Froch.He is in fantasy land, Froch would destroy him anyway.

This would be a good fight but De Gale has to move up from European level.

It's not just the Windsors it's the Oi Polloi too. Quite an achievement for an Olympic Gold Medalist.

DeGale hasn't been able to do shit since the Groves fight because he's been in a legal battle with Warren. Now he's finally rid of that cunt, and signed with Hennessy, he can start again.

He'll be selling out the Elephant and Castle lesuire centre in no time (with a top undercard of course)

What does degale need to do then to improve his game...i heard he was slating of chris eubank jr the other day as well.

Froch wont retire though.

The thing is fighters nowadays are fighting 3 times a year, that's acceptable to an extent if you are Pac and you need to do all the media stuff but someone like Degale should be fighting every 6 weeks. If he could have 6 fights in the next 12 months, stepping up in class each time he does then he could enter a fight with Froch and expect to hold his own. I don't like him after the way he treated Groves he has to do a lot to redeem himself.

It's about money at this point, in his career Degale is not a big draw and Froch is no spring chicken,
this point in his career Froch, want to make large amounts of money.

De Gale will get a lot more exposure on channel 5 and may become bigger than Froch, mabe not acheive as much but have a bigger support.
