Don't get to see him in the states. Is he for real or another Audley Harrison?

Hes a lot better than fraudley no doubt. Fury has talent hes young but still proving himself, hes 24 and so far looked decent. We will know within the year if hes good enough to contend at the top. I thought Boystov would be a good test for him, its a shame that the fight has fell through. I dont know who he is fighting next but if he shows up in shape like last time he will be a test for any heavyweight.

Average. The Audley Harrison that came off the games with gold would have destroyed him.
Cant see why if he is so good that he would cancel the Boystov fight unless Price is afoot.

Look at Mike Tysons first 20 fights. Fury's stacks up.

He looks like absolute dog shit, have no idea what some people are watching to rate this guy highly. At the same stage of his career Harrison had a hundred times more potential, he was far more talented and had skills. Audleys problems were upstairs, and that wasn't clear until he had fought a few decent opponents.

I'll grant you Fury seems determined and fairly tough, but that's about it. As awful as the heavyweight division is, I reckon even outside of the Klitschkos there are a good seven or eight guys who would completely wreck him.

I think at 24 he has a lot to still learn about the game, a lot of other heavyweights are better than fury but hes still got to get more experience and fight somebody who is worth fighting. Why does he look so shit? I think hes had some decent knockouts. As I said before I think in a years time we can have a better picture of Fury. He might be all or nothing, who knows. Only time will tell though and he has a lot of that, so I think people should stop hating and just see how hes progresses through the division.

I just can't see him tightening up enough to actually be world class. Crap as it may be, it's still the heavyweight division, you can't be a slow, plodding arm puncher without real KO power and expect to have all that much of a career. David Price would stomp a whole in him, I wouldn't give him much of a shot at all against the few promising American HW's out there.

Please explain what being 24 and learning has got to do with the fact he has no power at top level he is an arm puncher ,he has been down against a small ,light punching D level fighter.

A young Bruno or Gary Mason would have put him away in a round , id actually love to see him get a fight with one of the brothers grim , as id love him to get his mouth shut once and for all.

To sum up he is a circus act , sure he is British level , but in the HW division you need power and he doesnt have it , he has reached his level , thats why now they are carefully matching him .

well im pretty sure Boystov has pulled out of a fury fight saying he wouldnt be in shape? Thats a bad excuse, I think your stupid if you think hes reached his level and you will see it time that fury has the tools to do well at heavyweight. I think whoever he fights next will show that hes ready to take on the better heavyweights in 2013.

As av said before fury is really shit! And an accident waiting to happen. Really would like to see him in with price and believe price would take him out within 2 rounds.to be honest thow fury will be knocked out cold long before he stops running from David price.a think fury is a fine example ov how bad heavy weight boxing is just now

Fury will indeed take on better HW'S and when he fights a top level fighter he will leave the ring a loser.
One thing i am far from stupid son , but lets wait to see who is right.

Or are you telling me im wrong and Fury has big power at world level and he has a world class chin , ? is that what you are telling us all ?

I look forward to seeing Fury get sparked as soon as he fights a top level heavyweight. I just hope he doesn't sneak his way to a title fight against a Klitschko he doesn't deserve the payday.

Really hoping that the Price fight get's made in 2013!

Yes time will tell as Fury will get more experience and find better fighters gradually. I have no doubts Fury would have gone through with the Boystov fight and lets hope he does get matched well because I think he can have a good year next year.

Well, I must be stupid then.

Fury lacks power, which is critical for a heavyweight unless you have speed and excellent technique, which he doesn't.
His punch resistance is decent, but not good enough when you consider fighters are going to walk through his punches to get theirs off.
Maybe he will win a belt in the pisspoor heavyweight division post Klitchsko, but in spite of people carping on about his age and lack of experience you need to look at past heavies. Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe, Wlad, Ali, Frazier, and Foreman who were all world champions at around his age. Even late developers like Lewis and Holmes looked sensational at Fury's age.
Put it another way, what decent heavies have looked so limited in their first four or five years as a pro?
