Gutted lewis lost tonight, really wanted the hatrick for him. MVG has a good shot this year, but its still hard to look past the master Taylor!

Great game tonight.I picked 3 at the start, Whitlock, Barney and MvG, with Barney my main pick. I still think one of the dutchies will win it.

Barney has been looking good mind but its a big test against Taylor. Think Wade and MvG will be a belter too like!

Amazing weren't it!! Nobody has ever done back to back 9 darters before. Would have loved that last doub le 12 to go in. This guy is the future!

Barney looks defeated after 2 sets here. He doesn't look like he fancies it.

Yea but he's 23 and can come again.

I dont watch a huge amount of darts but I always wind up thinking that Phil Taylors a bit of a cunt when I watch or listen to him for any period of time.

Crazy match, they both thought it was over a few sets ago, it all went a bit mental from that point. Taylor at the end was funny, darts player fixing for a fight Alright Chris Mason might have been a bit handy with a hammer but I cant see any of them throwing hands at one another.

I think Van Gerwen will bend Taylor over an royally fuck him in the final.

Yeah scratch what I said, Taylor is a bit of a tosser as proved at the end of that match.

Interesting that Taylor said that even on his very best form, he could lose to MVG.
I'd love to know MVGs average not counting doble attempts, because he consistently averages 100 whilst still missing a huge amount of doubles. Incredible stat that against Lewis MVG hit 30 more treble 20s than he did single 20s in the 10 sets.

MVG going from the greatest talent darts had ever seen to a journeyman was seriously sad. It's absolutely awesome he finally realised his potential.

Win or lose he's been the best player in the world for 6 months. And definitely the most exciting (imo).

Agreed . I still can't believe MVG is only 23. I remember him appearing on scene a few years ago with all the hype and then becoming an 'also ran' almost overnight.

It's MVG's to lose - if he copes mentally. If he gets away early he will hammer Taylor. If Taylor gets away mind I fancy him to do it. Definitely not the Taylor of old - his first dart is awful and I never seen him hit so many 5s and 7s etc...

Looking forward to tomorrow.

As for the Barney spat, I think Taylor was being a prick. I see he has apologised this morning and said it's his fault and he is embarrassed about it. All Barney said was he wasn't afraid - no malice. Dave Clark at Sky did his own bit of mixing there mind.


Premier league line up anyone ??

At this stage I will say - Taylor, Lewis, Wade, MVG, Barney, Whitlock....and two others......probably Anderson (they need a Scot in there) and Hamilton (Newton an outsiide chance ??)
