Thread: Jeremy Williams Comeback

Just read that he will make a comeback.

Jeremy Williams was an exciting heavyweight who was probably a bit too small for the weight. I was excited watching him as he had some connections with the Tyson legacy through trainer and style so wanted him to do well. However he was comprehensively knocked out when he met a decent class and thought he would never reach the top. He certainly will not at this late stage either but I hope he makes money, stays content and is healthy when he finally finishes his career.

He made a "comeback" before, years ago after one of his losses.

Never seen him fight but did see him on the 'undisputed truth' documentary where he was a sparring partner for Lewis.

Larry donald is making a comeback and so is Jeremy Williams. google their first fight. That was 20 years ago and they sucked then.
If they fight each other again, I will make a "comeback" and fight the winner.
(keep in mind...I never had a pro fight but I was never any further from the top than either of them)

Williams has to have one of the worst chins I've ever seen at hvy. Great guy and personality, exciting for most of the wrong reasons but this is going to end badly and quick.

Last I saw he was doing some training with Freddy Roach and Manny ?

Williams seems like a pretty cool guy, but this does seem ill advised. He should just get his fix by beating up one of those bullies on "Bully Beatdown". God knows he must be tired of cornering those morons and trying to give them sensible instructions.

But 42(35)-5(3)-1 boxing and 5-0 mma is pretty top worthy.

Whilst Williams may not reach the top I do remember when he was sparring with Lennox Lewis he got annoyed by the beating Lennox was giving him that he took down Lewis hard.

I can believe Jeremy Williams would be good at MMA as he seemed to be a black belt at those manoeuvres.
